V Brisbane Roar Fri 6th Nov

Postby johntheclaret » Sat Sep 19, 2009 7:50 am

hi guys,

Me and Rita will be in Adelaide from the 4th November and we'd love to get along to the AU game on friday.

I would be grateful for any tips, directions, best place to sit, where we can get tickets (if there ae any tickets available that is) etc. and of course if anyone would like to say hello for a beer before or after the game.

Cheers

Sounds good Johnny! Count me in. I normally try and get tix in the western grandstand, purely for the fact you're not looking into the sun til it goes down, and is pretty comfortable. But really there isn't a bad seat in the house. Hopefully we've got our best side out on the park by then, and are playing some decent football! Fingers crossed...

http://www.venuetix.com.au should be able to sort your tickets out John. They don't normally sell out for minor round games, although we've had some of the best crowd numbers in the A-League this season. You certainly should be able to get tix from the ground on the night, possibly not the western grandstand ones though. There is a pub across the road from the stadium, I can't think what it's called though. Being from the country, I generally have to drive down. :( I might have to make this one a special occasion though I reckon! :drinkers: All games at Hindmarsh Stadium this season, with the redevelopment of Adelaide Oval preventing any games there. Anyway, we'll see what the other lads have to say and come up with somewhere to have a few bevvies before and after.

The Joinners Arms is the name of the pub across the road, I will be there behind the goals in the north stand as always
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas
