Football NSW - Elite training centre.

Saw this on the News and had a squiz on the net. Very interesting. Football NSW the governing body of the game in NSW are building a $40 m complex at Riverstone in the NW suburbs of Sydney i.e in between Richmond & Parramatta. Ironically this is in the area in which the AFL are attempting to pursue a second NSW AFL side.
It'd be a League heartland, as Parra, Penrith, Wests & Canterbury are well established, but Football of the round ball variety would be the sport of choice for a fair whack of population.

If this gets up and running it'd include a Football College, up to 15 pitches, a boutique stadium etc etc.

Surely it'd almost spell the death of AFL in West Sydney too.....

and just think of the multicultral society in the western suburbs... looks like it could be long days for the West Sydney WhippingBoys
