Blackburn have completed the signing of Australian international Vince Grella.

Now the 28-year-old has completed the switch from Torino in a deal reportedly worth £4million and he's signed a four-year deal.

Grella ends a ten-year stint playing in Italy having first arrived in Serie A in 1998 when he joined Empoli.

He joined Parma in 2004 and Torino in 2007, but he has now sealed his move to the Premier League where he will link-up with Australian international team-mate Brett Emerton.

Good work Vinnie G!

So even though Neill is our national captian, one of our best players and was immense for us at the WC, you really hate him?

What about when watching the footballroos?

I don't hate him, I'm disappointed he left and the circumstances around why he left, AND the club he left for.

Don't really watch them TBH. If I do, I hope 'we' go ok.

Fair points there gadj.

Agree - it sucks when a player leaves your club and then says they're going to a club that can win tropheys, blah, blah, blah, when deep down, it's really just about the cash.

In Neill's case, I think he received something like a trippling of his wage. That's tempting for any man.

Vinny G is already a tough defensive midfielder, i can only see him getting tougher and better playing in the more physical EPL. Good news for the Socceroos, and id like to see him and Emo have a good year with the Rovers.

And on Lucas Neil, i had the pleasure of watching him marshal our defence at the World Cup so ill always reckon he's a champion! Plus i met him in bar in Holland and he did nothing but double hand bourbons the entire night, plus last Australia Day he shouted the entire bar at Temple Walkabout in London a beer - LEGEND (even tho he plays for West Ham).

Absolutely, and I'd jump ship to do so too. However, don't tell me it's to win trophies when we know it's not the reason for leaving.

He can play, but I wouldn't pick him up for a couple of weeks...

A. Will they give him a run in the Reserves first
B. Will take time to adjust to the EPL style compared to the Serie A style....

Exactly. If trophies were his main priority he would have joined Liverpool at a less wage then what he is on at the Hammers. If i was a rovers fan i would call him a dog as well. Apparently he cracked the sh*ts 1/2 thru last season as he wasnt the highest paid there anymore and wanted the same.

Still hope he performs well for Australia but as a player i have no respect for him!

Harry Kewell - on his current move to Turkey said something about it was the right move for him financially at this stage of his career.

Robbie Keane - only signed his Spurs contract when a clause was added to ensure he was always joint top earner.

Did Robbie sit in front of a camera and say as much?

Harry's had his dream move to his dream team and got his Champions League medal. His is obviously a take what you can get move before the onset of reality TV.

Harry did very well financially out of LFC considering how many minutes he played over 5 years.

Neill turned down LFC to win trophies at West ham ??????? we all know the truth...

As for grella,,,,,,he;s an ordinary player IMO as are most of the footyroos.

when he plays for Australia i dont mind him, but when he leaves your club, leaves to play for trophies, but we all know its for the coin, dog act. good player and if he stayed at blackburn id be confident of atleast a eufa cup apperance this year
