Never been a fan of Ross as he's a sook and never even heard of Rees, only interested in Adelaide City players.

Ross did score a great goal in a prelim against South Melbourne in the early 90s which got us into a GF which we won so I shouldn't be too harsh on him, I think too much of John Kosmina rubbed off on him.

Plus Mori spent a lot of time at Central Coast so they win hands down for us South Aussies. :D

And it was the Mighty John Aloisi that scored the goal! :D

Just think if United had played their cards right they could have had both Mori and J.Aloisi scoring goals for them and would have been unbeatable! :)

Go Central Coast, hang onto this lead!

Great win by the Mariners.
Absolute embarassing effort by the classless crowd in booing one of the States greatest soccer products and Australian sporting heroes in John Aloisi.
Real shame as in the 70s, 80s and 90s Adelaide had the classiest most knowledgable crowd in the nation, now with so many morons at the game we're at the bottom end of that ladder.
I was amazed that my young son stayed up and wanted to watch the game till the end. He wants a John Aloisi top for Xmas! :D
Onya John, Tony and the Mighty Mariners! :D

Interesting to read in the paper that it was Agostino's first goal at Hindmarsh since a game in the early 90s for West Adelaide.
Ironically despite hearing all the claptrap about how the games gone forward there was almost 3000 less at the game last night than when he last scored.

Kristian Rees played 40 games for Adelaide City from 2000 - 2003 which is more than John ever played for them....

FYI Adelaide United currently have; Michael Valkanis, Robert Cornwaite, Travis Dodd, Angelo Costanzo, Lucas Pantelis as former players of City, as well as Aurelio Vidmar & Carl Veart as coaches...

Depends, John played many years of juniors for Adelaide City.
And I don't think 40 quite adds up to what Tony Vidmar, Alex Tobin and Damien Mori have contributed (not to mention who helped put this state on the map as far as soccer goes compared to the duds you named)!
Not to mention John's goal to get Australia into the world cup, the guy's a hero!

Go Mariners!! :D
Adelaide United are duds, their supporters who boo great players like John are bigger duds.

In the big red chair in front of my lounge chair Punky, gotta love Fox Sports when you have 2 kids to look after.

Put it this way Punk, I see a higher % of Mariners games (be it live or be it on TV) than you see of North.
