Australia 0
Argentina 1

GAME SET MATCH....

Argentina to good, even though they had half their side out...

If they had their whole side it would have been 4-0

Riquelme
Crespo
Rodriguez
Gonzalez
Sorin
Ayala

all 6 of them are very important players, they would slot into their side easily.

if Australia and Argentina both had full strength sides, Argentina would win easily.

my prediction:
Australia 0
Argentina 4

Who did Australia have out anyway? Kewell? He is no comparison to the Argentinian players.

BIGGEST TWO LETTER WORD IF

it was a friendly in which argies were fine tuning for world cup qualifying games( 18 games)

as australia were farewelling skoko and arnold.... plus trying some players for the future

cahill( still injured)

emerton etc

did u watch the game hearts

nah i didnt mate, it could have been different on t.v.

but i KNOW if Argentina had a full strength side they would have won comfortably.

Both teams were trying new players, i have bearly heard of Demichelis and he scored. So why couldn't Australia's younger players score.

Lets face it
Australia= SHIT
Argentina= 2nd in the world

Everyone knows Australia havent got the depth of some of these teams like Brazil, Argentina, England etc, but to their credit their last few attempts at Brazil and Argentina (probably the two best teams in the world) they have only lost 2-0 and 1-0 i think.

If they want to get up with the elite soccer countries it will take time and they need to take a look at the way the South American teams play their soccer and create a similar game style.

Bresciano's free kick that hit the bar, rebounded down and hit the goalkeepers back, then went back up onto the cross bar for a second time before rebounding out, hitting the goalkeeper again then going out for a corner would be a contender for one of the unluckiest misses of all time.

That was an amazing situation wasn't it!
If it had scored it might well have been one of the Soccerwhos' best of all time.

Good attacking game, petered out at the end. Good game though.

I was shocked after Bresciano's free kick, I can not believe that didn't go in.

hearts on fire you are just talking crap mate, of course Argentina have a better side but Australia were hardly at full strength, to label them "shit" is just ridiculous.. I've noticed the majority of posts on this forum have been bagging something or someone, bit bitter about something are we?
