And what a dodgy penalty it was.. the ref was half the length of the pitch away and guessed..

Great comeback by the boys...

Miller missing is a huge loss thanks to a dodgy red...

This wouldn't be cause of some comments directed at mitch davey back in the last season of the nsl would it...... parramata power by far play the better and more attractive football (which was true in the attractive sence) and would win the comp by how far, perth hasnt got a hope bla bla bla.

If i am not wrong, perth was top all season and won the gf and be parramata like all 4 times they played them, mmmm seems like you where wrong franny.

He has always been negative to the glory. Not sure if he is shitty he never got asked to play for us or anything...

Looks like we are the only 2 here who remember or care about the NSL...

Nah love the good old days.
Used to hate Awaratife, thought he was one of the biggest knobs in the NSL.
Miss Adelaide City still, Had a lot more passion for them than what i have for United and if down the track Adelaide has two sides and City come back id be back with them in a flash. Went to every GF that City were involved in and it used to be fun catching the bus from Hindmarsh to the interstate finals especially to Parramatta, Was fun being one of the only non Italians on the bus and learning to play Italian cards. The buzz at Hindmarsh for a match against Hellas or the Croats was electric, unfortunately the younger generation never got to see a Juventus-Hellas derby.
Ahh might go and pull out the DVD of the 94/95 GF against the scum and watch it again now :D

The only reason I'm a Perth supporter is because in high school getting told by the Italians and Greeks that I couldn't be in 'their' clubs and stuff. Perth come into the comp and bingo... there is an 'aussie' team to support.

I think it was a blessing I'm disguise being excluded from the local teams. The only down side is it costs me nearly a grand to see a home game.

0-0 in 65th
Boogaard stupidly sent off. Already on a yellow and gives away a free kick and then gobs off at the ref and is sent off. Poor discipline.
Vidosic injured and subbed off.
Ramsay missed the best chance of the match so far

Poor performance by Adelaide, didnt create much.

Surely Coolen has to cop some heat.
Got home and watched the replay, as players came off at 1/2 time they interviewed John McKain and he said it was Adelaide's plan to sit back, absorb the pressure and then hit them on the break. FFS we are the home side playing the worst travelling team in the comp, why are we sitting back. Attack you idiots

I don't necessarily think this is such a bad plan, especially with some of our best players out, but it needs to be done properly, there is no point having a break, the ball goes out to the wing (to Ramsey) who beats his man and crosses in to Broooooce to have 3 or 4 defenders on him, with the midfielders still stuck in our defensive half... if you are going to sit back and hit on the break, the most important part of that statement is "hit" them, once the turnover comes, midfielders and forwards must bust their @rses to get up and support... but not the Reds, the number of times that there was no support so we then slowly move the ball back to the Centre Halves and then the momentum is gone...

Bloody Vidmar'esque so far this year, and not the good Vidmar years either...
