Nervous but excited about tomorrow night. Surely we can beat a team who has only 6 fans.

I'd completely forgotten that it was on, have had to do some nifty footwork to get to the game...

Usually myself, Mrs. Jase and Older Junior Jase go along, but they have got something else on...

Oops....

Happy to get the points but Adelaide look so vulnerable at times. Our defence at the moment is very suspect (although Boogaard was a welcome addition) and GC probably should have drawn or won. Hopefully the win might instill some confidence in the team and kick start the season after some disappointing efforts. Really happy with Ramsay's game and Eugene was our saviour again.

Why did Gold Coast move their home game against us to Hindmarsh?
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Money, I believe.

I'd be interested to know how many local (casual) soccer fans had no idea this was being played in Adelaide. I heard/saw no real effort to advise the public it was at Hindmarsh.

In saying that, Im not sure who was responsible for publicising this -United or Gold Coast?

I had no idea, and I take few others did either given only 6000 rocked up (would that be the lowest A-leage attendance at Hindmarsh).

Would the 6000 indicate that people didnt want to pay extra to watch an away game?? i know lots of people thought they should have got entry with their season tickets

I believe they sold it as they reckon Friday night doesn't draw big crowds, not that they draw a big crowd anyway. Interestingly they play at home next Friday night too against Melbourne Heart.
