oh it may be, i just heard that on the radio, they are wrong often   i hope its just not all in japan

Yeah heard that in the car. They were actually referring to the final which IS played home and away. The other semi involves two Japanese teams.
So if United get through they'll play either the Urawa Reds or Gamba Osaka !!

Urawa are leading 1-0 going into half time - although what I am seeing now on Foxtel would be delayed.

Choices are as follows:

Qantas to Bali (cheap departures going from Exmouth next week) or Uzbek Incredabel Cultooral Lerning Airlines to Tashkent. A tough one...

The coolest bit is, if we get over Uzbeks in the second half, we qualify for the club world cup in Japan in December, whether we win or lose the current asian cup (although a win would get us a better draw). Then, with a favourable result or two, it's Adelaide vs Manchester United in the semi final, Japan, 18th December. Go Adelaide!

Ok, am I right in assuming the following is correct?

After the second game in Uzbek, if the score is:

An Adelaide win, or a draw, we win
An Uzbek 1-0 or 2-0 win, Adelaide wins on aggregate
An Uzbek 3-0 win, it's penalties to decide
An Uzbek 4-1 win, we win because away goals count double.

Basically, if we can just get a single goal somehow, we would just about be home...

According to this official site for the 2008 World Club Championships, http://www.pia.co.jp/fcwc-e/, the runner up in the ACL will play Waikatere from NZ in Round 1. The winner of that game then plays the winner of the ACL. The winner of that game then plays Manchester United in the semi-final as they have a free draw to the semi until then!

So in simple terms, presuming the NZ side lose in Rd 1, the ACL final will be replayed in Japan in Rd 2 with the winner playing Man U in the semis.
