Heard that united are trying to offload flores. So far the melbourne victory are the keenest. From reports its sounds as if flores is upset and shocked, he loves adelaide and wanted his family to settle here. If there is any truths to these rumours i will not be renewing my membership again.

not in Adelaide so i don't hear a lot of united news, really hope this isn't true though. Last i had heard was there were a few american MLS clubs very keen on his services and willing to shell out the mega bucks. He should become adelaide's marquee player after the season he just had here unless there is something really dodgy going on behind closed doors.

The rumour is they dont want him as marquee and instead are looking at slorry as marquee, sounds a bit dodgy but apparantly his friendship with Rini and his ability to speak dutch has him as the golden boy. Flores is so distraught he will only accept a transfer to melbourne if the united board come out and tell the fans the real reason he is being let go.

I will not be buying membership if Flores goes. He was the reason I was going to buy one last year and was def going to buy one next season.

He might be the most entertaining or even the most skilful but he certainly wasnt anywhere near Broich or Mckay for the best player in the league IMHO. Seemed to go missing in alot of big games.

Still be gutted if we let him go tho..!!

I think it's 1 Australian Marquee and 1 International Marquee. Van Dijk would be the latter.

thank god pantelis is gone. He was a solid player in the early A League but now the quality has increased and he has failed to grow with it. Has been a good servant to the club and scored some memorable goals. I'll certainly be giving him a clap when he walks back out onto Hindmarsh with Wellington next season.

Can't wait to see Rini work his magic on the entire United organisation, finally excited about a United coach who has ambition and a long term plan for the club.

Have heard from a very good source that united are going to have a crack at getting kewell. I believe the asking price is around 2 mill. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
