Mariners win 2 - 0 and thanks to Adelaide go further in front at the top, Matt Simon scored both goals and got a standing ovation in his last game, a fairy tale end! :)

Good result. Heading to Melbourne next week. So pumped. Sounds like there will be quite a few reds supporters over there too.

happy to come away from that match with a point, we were by far outplayed but stuck to our guns.
Ref was a shocker, blatant handball by Brisbane missed but they paid a dodgy one later on to even it up.

Jim Magilton named Victory manager. Real shame, really liked him as a player so its a pity he has gone to those dirty, filthy bastards. Would like to wish him well but i cant.

the two bays they have allocated for away fans have been sold out, they have just allocated another bay but apparently those tickets are going quick aswell so should be 800-1000 reds supporters over there for the game.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Sir Kossie indeed. All the Reds were at Joe's Kiosk at Henley Beach this morning before their recovery session. Kossie was sitting one table away from me and every player that arrived greeted him and Eugene with a handshake and a laugh. They look a very tight unit. All free to air TV stations were there too.

We're in the middle of a tough batch of games and to not drop a game so far is a positive, to get through the next three games without a loss sets up the run home to the finals nicely.

Besides the drenching and going home saturated I left feeling pleased to get a point after Brisbane dominated possesion and shots on goal. The Van Dijk penalty was definetly a square up after Williams missed the Berisha handball. The handball looked so blatant from the southern end, The TV replay didn't show how obvious it was.

Yeah just got online and got my tickets today. Not happy with the location. Looks like right up the back in the corner, but better than sitting with the victory supporters I guess.

All us Reds fans should be pleased with a point considering we were destroyed, battered and demolished against them last time.

1-1 against the basterds.
Good point after going behind so early.
Both sides had plenty of chances to win it

Victory nothing without Harry Kewell, he had a blinder yet just had no help(danny allsop is a dud). Adelaide played a lot better in the 2nd half and thought caravella played quite well. 5 points against the victory this season whilst only giving up 2 is a good result.
