Close to the worst United performance in several years

Guessing they were saving themselves for Tuesday.

Made it to Hindmarsh tonight for the second ever time. Nice place to watch sport but only when it doesn't involve jimmy jeggo

Thats a cop out if thats the case. They have 4 days rest before the cup final and the league is always more important than the cup. They were flat from pretty much the start, selection didnt help. Mabil showed when he came on how important he is.
And dont get me started on Jimmy ******* Jeggo, he would be lucky to get a gig in the state league

Could tell in the opening minutes we would get nothing from tonight. Team selection has been apalling the last two weeks. Now isnt the time to rest players and tinker with lineups. Djite not even making the bench is a disgrace and Mabil has to start. And dont get me started on ******* Jeggo, spends half the game tripping over his own feet or passing to the opposition

I actually really like Gombau as a manager and personality but at times from an outside point of view he tries to be to creative and to big an influence, if that makes any sense

That is true, heard him say during the week he would give Djite a break and he seems to outsmart himself occasionally with his tactics. Reckon he took the opposition lightly tonight and paid the price. Those loses are the differance between finishing top 2 or not

He doesnt have to reply, unfortunately they have the runs on the board and are a very strong well run club.
Adelaide after years of rabble in the boardroom and on the pitch are starting to turn things around but there is still along way away from being in the Victory's league.
Most of the hate between United and the Victory still stems from ethnic background rather than this percieved SA v Vic image.
United were born from the ashes of Adelaide City and still the majority of fans are of Italian origin, Victory were born from the old South Melbourne Hellas and as such the majority of their fans are greek. The two will never see eye to eye and because of this I know plenty of Greeks in Adelaide that follow the Victory rather than Adelaide and vice versa
