Man. WTAF. Mass confusion this week (mainly for me that is lol). Um, nothing to see here, move along! . Time for the Animals (or Angels if you are a bit younger) to belt this one out...if it's the last thing we ever do!

Round 9 at it here boyos.

Now, none of us are young and pretty,
And one thing I know is true,
Our seasons will be dead before we know what to do.

What do you mean here?
There's no byes this round?

Any word on what Fantasy are doing regarding a rolling lockout?
Thats where im at this year, ranked 222 overall, been as high as 110. At least they are handling byes how they should be ;)

My mistake. Got the rounds mixed up. And the frenzy hasn't even started!

20 days straight where teams are named just one day before their matchday. What could go wrong?

So hard to do the planning, will have an hour between teams named for next day and that evenings game commencing. Im planning 3 downgrades this round but still have to pick the right rookies to get rid of. I want to get rid of some non playing rookies like Brander, McInerney, and Robertson but if i jump the gun they will get selected for sure.

Thinking D.Smith down to Cameron, have the Nth Melb ruc/fwd at R3, could be handy cover if they rest Grundy or Gawn

Hmmm, I might downgrade J.Cameron to D.Cameron with the same intentions.

Smith has been shocking but maybe with Shiel back in the side it might help him. Also, no byes for D Smith. Yes, he is stinking up the place but he has a high ownership so if he continues to rack up 50s it won't hurt that much. I'm keeping Devon on the menu as I have blokes who aren't even playing. GTFO out Mr Brander. Been trying to offload him for weeks. Then, like you, I have those rooks like McInterney and T Brown to consider as well. I think all you can do is trade as late as possible. We are all in the same leaky boat after all.

Whats the deal with Brander, I thought he'd been out with injury but seems thats not the case?

That was a weird one. SC said he was injured and then it said he was omitted and the AFL site didn't have any injury report. I think the Weagles have been playing silly buggers there but something is up. They brought in Rotham last week so who knows...second strike??? One thing the Eagles (and the REBCats) aren't playing is Brander. For me its Brander out and Close and cash in.

Finally Zerk-Thatcher gets a run, I haven't been able to get rid of him yet.

I think he will get an extended run in the side as they need to get a decent block of games into him

He's in my side, he'll get injured this week.

After 290pts combined from Martin & Pickett I have no chance of the win this week, will offload deadwood and free up a bit of coin.

Traded out Max King for Toby Greene.

Was heading for 2300+ when disaster struck Saturday evening.

Papley, Rankine, Greene failing to impact, Aish a late withdrawal.

Georgiades seemed to have done more than the 55 points he managed and all of the rest of my rookies scored mid to high 50's.

I've removed Docherty, Greene & C.Taylor this round to bring in Dusty, J.Lloyd and Splinterdick.

I apologise to current owners in advance.
