Round 2 For Rucks Sake!

The first round was a nasty surprise for Grawndy owners as neither gun Ruck tonned up with Grundy being outscored by (the magnificence that is) Rhys Stanley of all people. A number of other premos were light on in the scoring with Clarrie Oliver in particular being most underwhelming. Down back Sydney Seagull Lloyd justified his hefty price tag while many might be saying 'Hello Newman' after he might jjust be the newman that the Doc has ordered for Carlton.

In the mids Cripps and McRae delivered with the cheaper Coniglio and MRouch also racking up the points. The big winner for anyone who had him was the mighty Dom Sheed who is being imported faster than Asian concubines after his 144 against the new look Brions. In the ruck very little value there although Goldie did ton up for those wise enough to give Grundy a wide berth. Phllips 98 was also solid but JS an issue for the big blue. Could it be Nank time again?

Up forward it is a desolate situation unless you put Drew on the field or had the Hoff. Otherwise it was a case of so near so far for Danger, Dunkley and McLean who all did a fine Michael Slater impersonations while West Coast Kelly did a little better. Yes m'lady Parker did a fine job for the Sainters but nobody would be Greene with envy over Tobe's modest 78 first week up. Meanwhile ex Cat Missing Linc McCarthy got a career best goal hoal in his first game for the Brions. Get ******.

Thoughts ladies and gentlemen? I say trade. TRADE NOW.

You're the boss Flanders!

regards,

REB

Looking a trading out Collins and Burgess already. If Grundy and Gawn don't perform this week I may look at trading them out before I lose 300k + in the ensuing weeks

Collins was never a good pick once Thompson went down. Burgess you can hold if you selected Moore. Trading Gawn AND Grundy might burn you four trades for cash you might not even lose by the end of the year. Stuck with your premos surely.

Was Collins injured or just playing a lock down roll?

Must say there was a list getting around with all the JLT stats. Looking in hindsight it was a brilliant guide to round 1.

McMillan, Drew, Sheed, MCrouch, Goldstein, Coniglio, Dunkley all had very strong Supercoach JLT's

Will definitely not devalue that next year.

Wish I did, at least I have a loophole now I guess.

My conundrums are Balta at F8, and Collins at D7. Giving it isnt going to affect my points on field or value of my team, I'll hold trades until their replacements become clearer.

Very concerned about my decision to go with Grawn. Hoping Brodie eases those concerns with a huge ton tonight. His recent record against the Tiges has convinced me to throw the VC on him.

Rumours of Marty Hore and Sam Collins missing this week are now circling.

I might be forced into a corrective trade after all.

I was on the Ridley train :(

From the 1576 idiots who traded out Grundy, were any of them fellow Hoggers?

I'll bank the 137 for the C.

Same & I'll take it.

J Roughead 112 in SC last night compared to nearly best on ground J De Goey with 82. Sometimes I never understand the silly scoring in this game .
