If you are going to change your team name (Mattee Geeeeeee) then please let me know or you may be punted. Daisy will once again be a force in this league but Howie up from third division leads the seedings at this stage. For those new to Divvy II, it's two up and four down here is the bottleneck for those with higher ambitions.

Tuder High Men have been promoted after the Hogg deadline to Divvy I which means we have a new coach up from Divvy III. He's no easybeat though as you can see from the updated rankings. Daisy goes in as a short priced favourite to finally get promoted to Divvy I after two dominant seasons at this level. This year's Divvy II doesn't look quite as strong as a few from previous seasons. New team in bold.

Once again Division II looks to be a very tough league even though the number one seed was snaffled by Division I over the off season. Every side has averaged over 2000 a game in the league with 18th ranked Right Nut no bunny. Every win in this league will be hard earned indeed. I expect DAISY to once again feature strongly in this league after two very high scoring seasons somehow hasn't lifted him to Division I. Watch out for greypower as well. My Mum (Trotters) and my Uncle (Porter Guns) just live for SuperCoach. While we are out there earning a living these guys are checking out breakevens, checking out your line up and reading the footy news. They live for it and as a result they are both very tough teams to beat.

It's taken Hogg Division II exactly one round of head to head matches to dry hump DAISY after Greedy Guns smashed out an impressive 2319 to defeat the luckless Hawker by 33 points in a high quality contest. There is nothing worse than getting the second best score in the league and getting rolled by the side that got the best. DAISY's score would have comfortably accounted for most opponents in the Hogg this week but it's a burger ring for the DUDS to kick off their season.

Big scoring Cossi and Trotters showed they will be the genuine article but Shanes Superboots got the benefit of an opening round shocker by my Struts who have really stunk up the place so far this year. I'm going to need to extract the claw here or I'll be down in Divvy III at this rate. Speaking of shockers Wingard's Crewe got off to a Straycat like start and after resisting relegation for many years Mattee now appears to have the hang of it and he's already looking like an easy lay in this part of town.

Cossi is off to a flyer this season with a second straight win to remain top of the ladder. Cossi was relegated a few seasons ago but the Carnts are in a good spot to try and get their divvy I spot back, albeit with a long way to go. The Carnts cleaned up last weeks big scorer the Greedy Guns to remain on top of the pile. DAISY bounced back from his unlucky loss last week to rebound into the top eight with a solid win over battling True North but the most impressive account opening win was by Wingard's Crewe who somehow belted out a 2200 score in a week when many teams struggled to post a decent score with Jimmy the team that cracked.

Darke Peake Blues scored an excellent win over the highly rated Trotters combination ad they join Shanes Superboots, Summer of George and Underbelly as the other unbeaten sides after two rounds.

Cossi is a happy **** right now as he has rediscovered that winning feeling and he might be just starting to dream about getting himself back to his former home in Divvy I. Divvy II is normally tough going but it's a bit of a soft one this year with Divvy III outscoring it so a great chance for some well credentialed coaches to escape the Hogg bottleneck and go up into a league where it starts to get a bit serious.

Apart from Cossi, the Summer of George is normally a hot one and after a few mediocre seasons George is back! Georgie boy is undefeated after four matches thanks to a close win over DAISY who seems stuck in Divvy II forever, never any luck Simon! George saluted by 11 points but there were two games that were even closer as Underbelly got home by 7 and a really unlucky Honda's lost to top four Superboots by only 5 OUCH.

The big story this year is....shock...horror.....Matteeeeeeeeee is finally having a decent Hogg season. Matt has routinely stunk it up and has won almost as many relegation dog fights as he has matches with his Hawthorn inspired teams copping shellackings most weeks. But not this year. Wingard's Crewe is easily the most successful team but if Matteeeee tries really hard he still has time to stink it up from 3-1 to resume normal service.

A couple of teams like True North and Straycat scrambled important wins while SuperCoach, Jimmy Crack Corn and most noticeably, Trotters did not. A few surprises with some top sides not really firing yet this season.
