Round 7 - Mooooooo

No, it's not BT's commentary (did anyone catch that LOL) but it's about time to cash in those milkers. Some people like myself went early and have gotten rid of Holman already but there are a few backline cows that could be milked with West Coast's Cole on the bubble. Yeo and Zerrett look like decent upgrade targets but the big winners this year will be anyone who held their nerve and didn't get Dangerfield, Mitchell or Martin who have all had relatively quiet starts, especially Dangerfield the !#$%!!!

Intresting to note that Grundy leads the way this season but somehow he was beaten by Nankervis yesterday which would have confounded anyone who went Nank>Grundy. Another amusing one would have been anyone who went Naughton>Simpson as Naughton pipped Beardo. There were a few coaches grumbling about that on FanFooty which was worth a smirk for us wise ones who didn't make the move.

REB

Grundy clearly hampered by an injury incurred during the game yesterday. How bad and will it affect his output going forward?

Dangerfield has to be carrying a niggle.

Reckon a heap will trade in Spargo ahead of the bubble.

He was flying in the first quarter. I reckon Grundy was just a bit sore. Ridiculous advantage to Richmond and Melbourne yesterday.

A full night's sleep, which is essential to recovery

Wouldn't call it a ridiculous advantage myself... I hope Collingwood and Essendon will be ok this week against opponents who have had an extra nights sleep!!

It was a 25% recovery advantage. No surprise that both teams that played on the Wednesday faded in the last quarter.

Stiff shit, it goes with the territory of getting the big games every year.

Agree and FWIW I think the supporters grizzle about it more than the players or clubs.

Six versus Seven days it's not ridiculous but on such a short turnaround I believe it was. I might have dodged a bullet as it seems Q was right about Grundy. Shin soreness that came on in the second. He might miss the Brions match this week.

Seeing as I have about 25 Demons I might give him a miss.

No complaints, other than I think they should have rested more than Varcoe & Langdon.

A classical LM move last week, trade in Parfitt only to be a withdrawal so I managed to get Pokehole's 18 miserable points.

Parfitt's likely to miss this week too!

Never. Like Higgins, he is fantasy/supercoach poison.

Finally pulling the trigger on Greene the spud. Jack Mcraee in.
Trying something different this year, blowing trades & stacking my mids super early. Have 7 premiums plus T Kelly in my mids now, hoping these boys can carry me to a few wins while I slowly try & patch my fwds & defs up for the rest of the year.
