Round 5 - Lest We Regret

Morning sports fans. ANZAC round is on us once again and it can be a round of 'Lest We Regret' during a season where so many rooks are stinking it up and with a relative dearth of up and comers to take their places so far this year.
With Angus Brayshaw getting reamed in terms of TOG numbers and Paddy Dow not getting nearing it and Liam Ryan breaking his leg things are looking pretty grim. Then you've got the likes of The Fog with low job security and guys like Stephenson who look set to tease you with an improbably high ceiling. Will Holman get selected for what should be a romp against the Brions clash? The sad fact is there are many non-performing rooks this year and Round 5 is just too early to cull any of them.
Then there are the 'why did I pick Billings' type of regrets or 'I should have realised Lever would eat Hibberd's points' blues. Ah, Round 5, Lest We Regret!
regards,
REB

You're going alright then, my Lest We Regret realisation was 3 weeks ago
Reckon I might stay with Billings, probably should of had 3 tons out of 4 rounds if not for his efficiency. I'll give him 3 weeks to get it right

Thinking of jumping on him while he stinks. He is too classy to stay down for too long.

Not sure what his BE is but he'll probably get down to about 420k with his current avg of 82

Josh Kelly still not back. My team is stuffed so many forced trades already. Usually go conservative & save trades but changed plans as of now after a real tough run player wise so early on.
Kelly out Danger in, need to bank on the big guns getting me over the line for some wins early in the year & save trades bye weeks now.
Another upgrade next week & hope for the best with bugger all trades left for this time of the year.

Rocky was a very good sport

Sorry I’ll go back a step.
The traders (Roy Calvin and Warnie), afl.com.au’s resident fantasy podcasters, also of DT talk fame, did a live show at the Arkaba last night.
Would have been around 300 people.
They interviewed Tom Rockliff live. Very brave or rocky to show his face in front of 300 fantasy nerds after his start to the year but he handled it like a champ.

I must say I'm not liking the look of the Gold Coast 'Ins' this week. A few midfielders looking set to return. Except for last week, Nick Holman has been one of the few cows that has done the job this year but now I'm worried he is going to get the flick this week and he's not ready to be milked. Keep Holman in for two more games Dew you Muppet!

I'd doubt very much if a Fantasy nerd would go an underdone Rockliff in their team so far this season. They are probably thanking him for spudding it up as he might be a decent upgrade target if he can ever get a kick this season. He'd be a popular lad in such circles.

Hang on to Kelly mate. At least until the end of your match against Straycat Strut.

I'm hoping Fritsch doesn't play so I can take the Fyfe VC score

That's my only option, but instead of having English emergency in the forwards I had him emergency in Ruck so no coverage. Hoping Dusty goes big, bit worried about Mitchell getting tagged by Jacobs for the other Captain option.
