I was tossing up between Kenedy to Mitchell or Rocky this morning. Of course I chose Mitchell

I did and I made him VC (and hence C) this week too

Now I'm wondering whether I should do a trade of J Smith to R Gray or Priddis, or maybe Byrne-Jones to Boyd (I have the cash and a trade left) just to have a crack at the weekly prize this week even though that wouldn't be a sensible thing to do for the long-term interests of my team. Always a huge amount of luck needed to win the weekly prize but I've already had other good luck so far with
- covering Goldy with Lycett
-bench looping Wagner who scored 100
- avoiding D Martin, S Martin, Docherty and various rookie duds

My only dud so far is A Hall, but presumably just about everyone has him so that may not matter. Probably need Naitanui and Lycett to score big hundreds to win it (as I don't have Gawn), but at least there is a chance of that.

My projected score at the moment is 2574. Anyone else see any teams with projected scores around that mark?

I would go for it, Gray and Priddis are handy pick ups anyway. You will lose a bit of cash generation by trading Smith early but if you're a sniff for the weekly prize I say go for it

Even if you do lose a bit of cash generation from smith, R.Gray won't be at that price for the rest of the season barring injury

Joey cost me a couple of wins with his 45, he's spudded it up ever since I got him in.

I only came 489th for the round in the end, over 200 points behind. Montagna, Dahlhaus, Lycett, Naitanui, Gray all below par today killed off any chance.

I got rolled by 17 and 9 points in my two comps... pretty much can put the sole blame on Zaharakis and his pathetic 20... i thought he must have got injured in the first quarter or something but apparently not...
