NicNat is back.

Who else will come down with The General?

Armitage is out with a shoulder. Would imagine him being in a fair percentage of teams (including mine

)

Wow you've really copped it this week Q Man - Picken, Armitage, Parker, Mitchell, Steele. Lucky you saved all them trades
I'm just down Mitchell but can cover him with Ryder or trade. Luck plays a massive part at this time of year

I had Tommy Mitchell and Dylan Roberton both out, I have limited bench prospects.
I got rid of both of them for Fyfe & Kennedy of the Western variety, hopefully he has a boomer against a wounded bulldog outfit.

Mitchell has screwed my trade plans… was going to go Wallis to Priddis and Maric to Jacobs but need to trade Mitchell now. My opponent in the $50 league has Parker, Mitchell and Sandilands and Mundy (who might be rested)… would be a huge stroke of luck if it were to happen but I think my trades will be:
Mitchell > Deledio and then Maric > Jacobs and then rely on Wallis to have a good game… I feel the difference between Maric and Jacobs will be bigger than Wallis to Priddis… Thoughts?

Or Hannebery looks cherry ripe for this week vs GWS... I could go Wallis > Hannebery and leave Maric in the rucks but means he has to compete against Sandilands... unless Sandilands is a late withdrawal

Doubt that Sandi will be rested against Goldstein, with Freo still to tie down a top two spot.
Possibly next week...

Why would you trade Wallis, just came off 138 and has a 3 round average of 125. I would hold him for sure. Deledio and Jacobs are 2 good trades

Never trust Ross to do what seems reasonable. Freo will smash Melbourne at home next week which will guarantee top spot

Yes agreed he has had a good few weeks but I think he is my potential weak link against my opponent this week. He is a player that could smash out a big score but also could spud it up against a very inform WC side.. Earlier in the year when he scored 153 he followed it up with an 83 and then 136 was followed up by a 66. He scored 97 against WC in round 1 though...
Having said that Cotchin and Lewis could also spud it up... I can see a bigger point difference in going Maric to Jacobs than going Wallis to Priddis/Hannebery.
The midfield match up is:
Lewis v Rockliff
Cotchin v J.Selwood
Fyfe v Mundy
Wallis v Mundy/Hannebery (I suspect he will trade Parker to Hannebery or Fyfe)

I think Ross has learnt what damage rooting around with the side close to finals can cause.

FAAAAAARK another one out... now i'll have two forced trades rather than upgrades... I hate this game sometimes

Goddard > N.Riewoldt maybe

Its late drop outs like this which actually rewards mediocre performances through the year- no heartache!
