Round 14 - Back to normal... or...

So the dreaded bye rounds have passed us for another year thankfully... next year I am definitely going to structure my team around the byes, didn't give two hoots about it and am now 1,000 points off the hogg leader.

How did people manage with their trades over the byes? anyone get trigger happy or were you able to hold off the temptation and cop a loss? I made 4 trades over the byes, pretty happy with that and 3 of them were bringing in keepers.

So where are people at with their sides now? My team is full of keepers and I have some ok cover on the bench (Colquhon DEF, Boston MID and Hogan FWD)... Still got a few trades up my sleeve to upgrade some of my keepers i.e. Bont, Lewis, Watson if they do not pull their finger out!

I rage traded last week, to little avail.

There's been very little mooing from cash cows lately, and even fewer rookies worth trading in. Hopefully that changes in the back half of the season.

I made 9 trades over the byes due to injuries and what not. Im now at full premo with a little cash in the bank to bring in GAJ or Rocky if they come out strong. I have very little trades left and can it see it becoming an issue around SC finals.

Another one is down...

STAR Hawthorn forward Jarryd Roughead is out of football indefinitely after being admitted to hospital to have a melanoma removed from his lip.

It is understood Roughead underwent the procedure on Wednesday night after test results from a lesion on his lip returned positive for melanoma.

In a statement on its website the Hawks said Roughead would miss Friday night's crunch game against Collingwood and a timeline for his return was yet to be determined.

I had put the VC on Haneberry in a stroke of genius!

BUT....

After reversing my trades cos of Roughie's predicament it reverted to previous rounds setting and i forgot to change it... dang it!

In good news, Downie is named for a run which is perfect timing considering Martin is out for a couple. It may not be worth many points but it's better than a doughnut!

Lol I just realised you are referring to DT... haha I don't really take much notice of DT and was referring to SC.

I do my trades etc. but logged in last and saw I had him as VC so looped that sh!t..

What will be the outcome for fantasy football comps with no Crows v Geel game I wonder? Only a very very tiny matter in comparison to what has occurred but interesting to see what happens..

Can we reverse our trades after a Thursday game if it hasn't affected any other players?

It was 2 years ago, it should be out of his system by now.
