Bye weeks! As if I need any further handicap. Might as well have a bye myself I reckon, that or a beer anyway.
For the newbies that means your top eighteen players score points. Your emergencies don't score unless an on field player doesn't play like normal. For the next three weeks you get to burn three trades instead of two.
The teams with the bye this week are Adelaide, Brisbane, Carlton, Hawthorn, Richmond and the Western Bulldogs.regards,

Not looking too bad this week. Next couple of rounds will need to use a few trades though.

A question on the VC loophole this week.
I know once the round starts the bye round players are locked in and most will fill your bench spots.
However, can I use the loophole to move a non-playing player (from a team that doesn’t have a bye) and make him captain, which therefore sets up an emergency player and that score is in my top 18, will the emergencies score count? Another complication is that I will have more than 18 on the field that will score

All the bye round players are free to do as you like for the whole round.
My understanding is your best 18 score, if say in your forward line you have 5 playing, one as non playing as F6 captain for loophole and one playing on the bench as emergency if his score is in your best 18 it counts. Only reason an emergency wont count is if you are full up on the field in that position

I didn't need to trade this week, I have 20 players happening, just means I'm going to take one up the tail pipe in the next fortnight.

I reckon I'm similar to this but they are almost my whole midfield!!! Next week is a total write off this week is ok and i reckon rd 13 I'll have close to a full compliment and those missing arent much chop anyway.
My supercoach has been dreadful this year, really letting the team down!

Dodged a bullet, looked for a player around $480,000 to upgrade Krakour, put in Pops Kelly as he has been good since his split nut but reversed it just before game start and brought in Cross instead. Kelly gone with a knee
