Looks like a low scoring round to start the season off with the par score around about 1950. If you've topped 2100 you have done pretty well this week with so many popular picks underperforming in the first round of the season. A couple of surprising names are the cobras, Victorious Secret and Nabootique all currently enjoying top ten positions when normally they would be struggling to crack the top 100.

A pretty good start by most leagues with a massive start by the Piglet Shield which outscored Division IV. Biggest disappointment of the round was the stinky performance of Hogg Premier. HPL ranked 91 last year so 708 is a massive shitburger.

There aren't any Spuds in the factory or so it appears after two weeks of the Hogg this year. Spuddy leads the way with Corky on the scene once again and new Hogg team Poo Wings is really rising above it. Good old Strawb has once again proven to be the bunny team in the Hogg..as Homer says 'it's not easy staying in this rut'.

The second week so a couple of unlikely leaders take a tumble, must have been a fluke for Nabootique and Victorious Secret who tumbled all the way down to number 100.

A massive leap up the rankings by Hogg Division II who are certainly punching above their weight this season. Hogg II have left Division I behind and are threatening the Premier League. The top leagues are struggling in comparison with their performance last year with Hogg Elite taking a real tumble and Premier League not really making up much ground after a slow start last week.

Rankings don't mean much at all at this stage of the season.
I'm down in 81st place but I'm actually quite happy with my team so far - pretty much have all the right rookies and still have 30 trades (before ditching Ablett) and no other urgent things to fix. In other years I've always had some really dodgy players I've needed to trade out in the first two weeks.

It's just a couple of unlucky captain/bench decisions that have put me down that low, and you can easily make up the difference over the next 21 rounds.

Happy to be top 10, looking to back up from winning last season. Also something new, started my div 1 season with a win. Will have 29 trades left after trading Gaz this week, maybe 28 if I feel like ditching Goodes or KK.

Spuddys still top but the Professor is ready to top the class a mere three points behind. It is much harder to score points this season or so it seems. Many top players are not scoring consistently and we are all missing the perma-captain Gary Ablett. Call it the SuperCoach recession we had to have!

The Spud Factory has been closed down this week as valleys' form is dare I say it, Delicious. Best newbie in show after a month of play is Inner Sanctum who are going nicely at number 6. Most improved odour goes to Media Park who instead of spudding it up like he normally does he is on fire and ranked 9th.

It was a tough week in SuperCoach land in what has been a tough season. So far we have 60 coaches who average 2000 this season but I reckon we didn't get anywhere near that number that passed the 2k mark in what really was a horror round.
