Hogg Deadline 2014 - 6 March 2014

The worst part about organising the Hogg Shield every year is chasing up coaches who can't be arsed signing up until the last minute. If you haven't joined the Hogg by midnight on Thursday March 6 then your spot in your league will be offered to coaches in lower divisions.

Invites will go out to the promoted coaches on Friday March 7. Coaches will be promoted in points scored order. If those coaches do not accept their promotions by Sunday March 9 then a more general invite is issued and it's first in best dressed. New Hogg Coaches cannot be promoted any higher than Hogg Division IV.

Usually it is coaches in Hoggs III - VI that are the slowest to sign up as the higher league coaches are a bit keener to retain their hard earned spots. As I have said in other posts, entering the Hogg is not mandatory. But if you don't want to go around again please tell me so I can stop sending you PMs and emails.

Also, if you have entered the Hogg and if you've changed your team name, please let me know so I know who the **** you are. If I don't know who you are I can't promote you and again I'm sending you PMs and emails because I don't think you have joined.

If you miss the deadline but still want to Hogg you can, but you might be in a lower division than originally assigned. You don't have to get demoted, remember you have ONE team to organise, I have over a hundred.

There are several coaches who have not put there teams in by the deadline. I am sending out promotion PMs and emails today. Whoever puts their team in first, the originally invited or the newly invited alike - gets in. I want full leagues by next week folks.

Premier, Elite, I and II are all full.
