A very solid in Round 1 in the Elite league with every coach scoring over 2100. Underdogs were the unluckiest of the losers getting done by a mere seven points after racking up an impressive 2314. eddieslittleindians returned to top form this week with the high score of the round of 2443 as he easily defeated Premier League opposition Hondo.

Cork in the Ocean and Darksiders have emerged as the power teams in Hogg Elite after both sides backed up their round one wins with a second victory for the season. Honda's Heroes are ranked 17th in scoring but also remain unbeaten. The scores in SC overall were down this week due to popular players either misfiring or being AWOL thank you Mummy very much for that.

There are some pretty good sides in the wrong half of the ladder in this league so Honda is riding high after not scoring all that much but still racking up the wins.

eddieslittleindians have announced themselves as a major contender in the Hogg Elite league after topping the scoring for the round and marching to third spot on the ladder at the expense of the winless Has Been. Darksiders and Corky remain unbeaten after the third round of matches but Corky can count himself a little lucky after he won with what was a lower than average score for him this season.

It was a round when the Elite coaches were steady rather than brilliant and this was shown in the league rankings when the league dropped some twenty places in the standings. In a very even league Blighty Teasdale and Has Been are starting to feel the pinch and they will need to win their matches next week as I reckon you can't make the finals from 0-4 in this league as there are no easy matches.

With so many top players underperforming and with injuries to Buddy and Fasalo, this was a week to forget for most SuperCoaches. With the scoring generally down this meant that in the Hogg Elite league close low scoring matches were in vogue. Unbeaten teams Cork In the Ocean and Darksiders SCE had lower than normal scoring patterns but still managed to defeat their opponents to retain their unbeaten status.

Has Been enjoyed an overdue win over my REBCats as they racked up the top score for the league, even though his 2263 wouldn't have topped many some other leagues in the Hogg. While Bens Roflsburgers couldn't get a win with 2147, the same couldn't be said about MILLERS MOSQUITOES who somehow fashioned a win with a meagre score of 1999 against Blighty Teasdale who only managed 1992. Remarkably, MILLERS got the win against Blighty again in the Champions league for a dose of double luck.

Q Before You may be struggling big time in the Premier League but he's going along nicely in the toughest league in the Hogg (if you can work that one out). Other sides on 3 wins 1 loss who are chasing the unbeaten teams include the Underdogs and Honey Badgers. I reckon you need at least two wins from the first five in this league to remain competitive so a lot of teams are going to be up against in Elite sooner rather than later.

Hondo had a cracking week in SuperCoach as they smashed Benny Roffles in a high scoring encounter. Hondo's 2426 was the top score in this league and Benny is more than a bit stiff to lose while racking up over 2300. The Roffles have now tumbled down to 13th on the ladder and I'm tipping that he isn't normally this low on a SC ladder five games into a season.

Quite a few teams cracked 2300 with considerably more success as Underdogs, Darksiders SCE ,Cork in the Ocean and Les's Men flexed their muscles near the top of the ladder. MILLERS MOSQUITOES got amongst the scoring action again this week at the expense of FISH and Has Been's recent resurgence continued.

Despite the dominance of the top three sides, this still appears to be a very even league. However, three teams look like they are done for the season already in REBCats, TEAM_FISH and Blighty Teasdale. The fight for the spoon is on.

Corky and the indians were the big winners this week as highly rated Underdogs and Darksiders dropped the ball in the first of the bye weeks. Scoring was down across the board as you would expect and with some of the top teams struggling a little bit the league's ranking took a slight hit. Les's Men copped the unlucky loss this week, not too many teams will lose with a score of 1705 this week but Squeaky was too good and their impressive victory now has the Premier league outfit knocking on the door of the top eight.

The teams that defeated the Dogs and Darkside, Honey Badgers and Q Before You made out like bandits on the premiership table and they have advanced to an impressive 4-2 record, no mean feat in this league. Out of all the teams in Hogg Elite the bye hit Captain Who and Honda's Heroes the hardest as they failed to crack 1300. Blighty remains without a win and remains stone motherless last on the table but I hope his improvement doesn't start too soon as I play him next week!
