Round 3 Discussion

Bubble week for the majority of players. What to do...

Ablett, Franklin, Dangerfield and Tex Walker have all been flat early. Do you trade them out and jump onto other "premiums" that are headed in the opposite direction?
Watson an obvious choice.
Monfries looks a good option up forward at a discount.

Rookies. Who did you miss out on? Do you jump on them now?
Did you dump Terlich and Crouch before the Rd 1 lockout? Do you want them now? Could possibly wait another week on these two.
Whitfield might be one to grab while you can?

Toumpas is underperforming, especially at his 185k starting price.
K Mitchell seems to be the number one vest man at port, could hurt his ability to Moo effectively.
Karnezis is another disappointment.

I'll prolly spend most of the week changing my mind on what I'm going to do, then come Saturday I'll hate myself for not going with the one that would have worked!

Stick with your premiums. Unless injured, or major role change, they'll come good.

Far more important that you have the gun rookies.

Ablett flat? Didn't see his round 1 performance then?

I'm thinking of trading out Karnezis for Sam Dwyer. Bound to get one of the mid-pricers very wrong and happy to use a trade to fix it, just a little worried about Dwyers job-security once the big names return.

Paddy Ryder has been effin' useless, but will keep him for DPP.

I'm thinking that Kane Mitchell won't be sub again this week, but could very well end up back at the Eagles if Port are looking to brink Robbie Gray back into the team.

He's on track to drop 45k over the next three weeks thanks to his 99 in Rd 2.

Ablett is the kind of player that you keep unless he gets a long term injury, so his value dropping slightly now doesn't matter

Yeah, I've had Dwyer from the start and JS was always a concern.
Hopefully his efforts yesterday get him another 4-5 games before the dump him.
7 rounds (5 price rises) would be enough to make it worthwhile IMO.

As for Ryder, i stayed away from him, but having similar issues with Roughhead! haha

Seedsman and Sinclair go out of that team before Dwyer, and Beams and Ball are still a two or three weeks away I reckon.

Going to swap out two risk players who haven't gotten warm for a rookie and a premium.

Ablett hardly flat. Just didn't score against Sydney. Why would you dump him?

Ablett was double teamed by Sydneys best 2 run with players. Far from flat.
I can't see him registering under 120 this week with Brisbane not having a recognised run with player.

Raines although his effectiveness varies, Ablett still pumped out 150 SC points last time against Brisbane despite being "tagged".
Suns kicked 5.18 in that match, reckon they're a reasonable chance if they can find winners up forward.

That's why I said recognised run with player ;)
Personally I think after Redden's first couple of weeks they should get him to run with Ablett. He is better than what his ouput has been and someone of Ablett's calibre will naturally take him to the ball.

For the record, I don't plan on dumping him. I've seen his name mentioned elsewhere and thought it was an interesting disucssion point.
I'm far more concerned with a range of other players I've got. (Tex Walker, Karnezis and Toumpas my main "problems" at this stage).
