LOL, every year the how do you make the captain loophole work. Well yes im asking it again.

My midfielders are:

G.Ablett
S.Pendlebury
J.Watson
J.Kennedy
A.Swallow
N.Fyfe
K.Lucas
K.Stevens
O.Wines
J.O'Meara

I want to make Watson my vice and take a chance on him getting a big score. If he fails i wanna use Ablett as my captain, how do i make this work.

First of all it can only be done if you have a non-starter amongst your 30 players if so and if Watson gets a biggy.
Then put the non starter on the field with the Captain on him and then cover the non starter with an emergency in that same position category

name Watson as your VC

if he rips it up for a score you're happy with, then put a player on the field that isn't playing (eg. Sandi, Crouch etc..), and name them C, and have a player that is playing as Emg.

if you're not happy with Jobe's score, it's as simple as just naming Ablett C.

the one thing i'm not sure on, and would like somebody else's help, in the unlikely event that all 30 of your players are getting a guernsey in one particular week, you cant take advantage of the loop hole can you?

How do your other lines look? That's a massive amount of money tied up in your midfield.

Yep, doesn't really take advantage of the cash cow rookies that are in abundance in the midfield.

I'm going to hate this rolling lockout, mainly because I won't be able to take advantage of it on Saturdays

If you put your team into TooSerious database it will notify you via email if you have any late withdrawals or players being given the green vest.

I didn’t like the idea from the start if you spend most of the day at the Footy on Saturdays you cannot gain any advantage. Perhaps as LM says I may have to get my first smart phone?

It's a very annoying rule that only helps the nerds who sit in front of their computer screens all weekend. Nobody wants to be checking their phones every few minutes for late withdrawals when they are out at the footy or doing whatever else normal people do on weekends.

Hopefully everyone will complain loudly when they get stung by it, and it won't last beyond this year.

Should be a league option to have it or not imo.

Rolling lockouts are long overdue!
