Round 20 trades, teams & discussions

Well, for about half of us, the finals series begins this week!

Those with no trades left would be nervous to hear rumours a certain tattooed Collingwood star may be in some strife.

If there is some substance to them, could throw the cat amongst the pigeons.

Lance Franklin should return this week, as should Mitch Robinson (please).

Huge games with a chance to shoot straight through to the prelim for those top four teams!

Only a bit more than half playing finals that matter.

Swan missed curfew I'm reading. Two week internal suspension?

Luke Dahlhaus also out for the year?

Confirmed:

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/143883/default.aspx

COLLINGWOOD has decided to suspend Brownlow Medallist Dane Swan over a night on the town last Sunday.

It is believed the Magpies will ban Swan from their next two matches,
against the Sydney Swans and North Melbourne.

A Magpies player challenged Swan about his condition at training on
Monday, and a meeting with coach Nathan Buckley and at least two other
players followed.

Recently, the club's players pledged to refrain from drinking alcohol
until the end of the season.

Swan is understood to have denied drinking alcohol on Sunday night,
admitting he went out but only consumed water before getting home at
midnight.

Collingwood officials could not be contacted.

No Swanny. Nice. All I need now is for Buddy to have another week off to work on his driving.

regards,

REB

Swan out trying to recreate a Libba situation and only gone for 2, weak Collingwood.

Buddy has the bye this week so wil not play.
Stanton out for at least three.
Ryder maybe one more.

Playing a lockdown role at the moment. I'll be benching him this week so he'll probably ton it up.

His projected scores for the next four rounds are 81, 79, 66 and 78.

Probably worth letting go if you can...

Well zero trades left, not that I really need them anyway.

Maric will start in the ruck of course, and it is hard not to play Giles as the second, especially since Brogan is done. Pyke and Stephenson post more consistent scores, but they aren't a snowballs chance of a big hundred.

Very happy with the midfield: Ablett (c), Kennedy, Gibbs, McLean, Rockliff, Pendlebury, bench: Sherman (ffs!) and Couch

Tough call as to whom to drop out of the forward line if Buddy plays: Dangerfield, Pav, Beams, Stevie J and Zorko all safe, Smedts stuck on the bench, either Devon Smith or Taylor Walker will be the unlucky one to miss (only if Buddy plays, help me out here).

Back line has been a shambles all year, too late to fix it: Goddard and Enright have been good for me, Geary can either win or lose a close one for me, flitting between scoring 30 and 100, Tyson Goldsack is he going to miss? He got injured and copped a score worthy of that Olympic diver. Kanga's Thompson, Steve Morris and Mattner are all sub-par fantasy players, and they're all on my bench... The ever-reliable Hargrave is on the bench, but he'll be selected in an extended squad and dropped, and Jed Bews somehow still sits on my bench.
