Duds and Superstars

Just over half way through the season, who have been your SuperCoach/Dream Team duds or superstars.

For me my major dud is Lewis Jetta from Sydney. I thought on his pre season form and hearing players speak to the media he was going to be great. Cannot even trade him for a bag of chips now.

Stevie J and Fisher are my first two picked and have been great but Zac Smith and Nick Duigan were two I had from the start that have made some serious money and points.

I've somehow bumbled my way through the season with no Hawthorn or Geelong players.

Heroes for me: Yarran (dud sometimes), Nick Lower, Zac Smith, Callan Ward.

Duds are clearly Goddard and N.Riewoldt this season, majority of coaches have these 2 as their first 2 picks (bar Sandilands i guess) so very very poor form by both of these 2. On a brighter note they will be alot cheaper next season ;)

I have been very happy with Mitchell and Cox all season... both have been the 2 most consistent (and less injury prone) out of my side!

Wish i had jumped on Dustin Martin this season, think he will be a lock for me in future seasons! what a star that kid is

Disappointing: Broughton, Gibbs, Goddard, Chapman, J. Riewoldt
Duds: N. Riewoldt, Higgins, Grimes, Knights

Handy: Krakouer, Z. Smith, Lower, Heppell, Swallow, Harris, Stanley, Darling
Stars: Cox, Fyfe, Pendlebury, Deledio, Franklin

Should've picked: Boyd

Misses: Goodard, N Riewoldt, Foley (my fault though)
Hits: Suban, Roughead, Curnow, Warnock, Duigan, Lower

Roughy was the biggest and best for me and I'm devo'd about his injury :(

Foley was more of a hit than Warnock. Foley up over $70,000 and averages 90, Warnock averages 80 and gone up $27,000.

I had foley and curnow from the start.

Foley was extremely sick hence the low score and being subbed off in round 1. Take out that score and he is not going to bad considering the price i got him for. He has scored 140+ twice which has lead to victories for me (although did score one of those when my opponent had him  )

From my starting side:
Hits: curnow, swallow, smith, lower, heppell, Cox
Misses: N.Riewoldt, Goddard, Swan (to some extent), Kieran Jack (injury), Mundy (injury), Walker (what was i thinking? taylor variety) and Yarran

Duds: Bewick, Wallis, Richardson, N Riewoldt, Chapman (so far)
Hits: Pendlebury, Heppell, Shaw, Watson (until injured), Judd, Cox, Sandilands (until injured), Goodes

Frustrating picks: Mundy inj, Selwood susp, Otten dropped/inj too early so I traded him out, Yarran inj round 6 when I thought I had a donut so traded him out too (wish I kept both Yaz and Otten)

Overall, it's been my most frustrating year of supercoach

You guys are obviously using a different coaching philosophy to mine.
I do not have duds and superstars but everyone is working as a team.
The team rules are being observed, overall position and team value increasing.
Coach and Team are learning with each match and we are only taking it one match at a time.
No rockets have had to be delivered and there has been plenty of competition for spots and no donuts delivered.
Yes we have had our LTI's in Grimes and Mundy but other youngsters in Suckling and Silvia have stood up to take on the responsibilities. 8)

Disagree on Goddard being a dud. As a DEF he has the fifth highest average and fourth highest total score, and could go higher by season's end.
