So who is in your backline?

Postby Rik E Boy » Thu Jun 09, 2011 12:49 pm

It's been a real problem child for most SC coaches this year.

My current backline is this...

Deledio, Adcock, Goddard, Broughton, Heppell/Hibberd, N Lower, Duigan, Puopolo, L Thompson, Batchelor.

Going to add a couple of guns to that backline soon as it is my weakest line. With so many underperforming premium backs I've been able to get away with a bit but with so many youngsters back there you'd think that more than one of them will hit the wall.

That's mine, what's yours?

regards,

REB

Newman, Goddard, Gibbs, Adcock, Grundy, Lower with Puopolo, Toy and Jacobs on the pine.

Fisher is my target back there to fill the last premium void as i can switch deledio back there to fill any weaknesses.

Newman, Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Murphy, Lower, Duigan, Thompson, Puopolo, Hibberd.

At least 1 premium will come in this week, possibly two as I desperately need a win and am up against the ladder leader Quichey.

Deledio, Adcock, Goddard, Gibbs, Broughton, Lower, Duigan

Res.: D Stanley, Puopolo, Jacobs

Have also got Heppell who is currently playing as an M6.

Originally had rookies Batchelor (downgraded to Jacobs) and Otten (downgraded to Puopolo).

Would like Fisher or Shaw after their bye and will probably upgrade Duigan to get them (although Stanley could also be on the chopping block).

Have Jacobs as a MPP in the midfield.

Changes are coming as I have been waiting for some of these investments to mature.

How you looking for St Kildas next bye Brodlach? I would like to get Fisher or Scotland in but with the byes I am always worried about having too many from 1 team.

Because Goddard and Gilbert are MPP and I have cover, the bye is not a problem.

I've got Deledio, H Shaw, Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Lower, Buckley with B Smith, Batchelor and Toy on the pine. I've also got Hibberd as my MID link.

Got some money in the bank so will be upgrading Toy or Smith soon. Most likely go with Fisher, when is the Saints bye?

Heppell and Lower I'm considering keeping. All depends, if I can afford the luxury of upgrading them later on I will, if not I won't be too upset..

Reasonable mate ... Only been below his average (82.2) once in the last 7 weeks.

Wasn't expecting him to be outstanding, but more a solid type who doesn't miss much footy and thus far that's about exactly what he's delivered.

Ive probably just mozzed him now and he'll be on the injury list soon enough ... I need to add some quality to my back half, but am just trying to hold out for as long as I can
