This will be the quietest thread on the Fantasyland Forum this season as there are not too many safootyites on here besides myself, Gingernuts and Booney. One of the annual must sees is when Mrs Gingernuts cleans up Hubby yet again and Booney calls him on it.

This league is a bit like the State of Origin as it is dominated by Queenslanders. In case you haven't noticed, this is our family league but for the first time it's not the lowest ranked league in the Hogg.

Yep, Mrs Ginger smashes ya.

Don't worry, she's stung REB in the past too and I don't think I've had a win against her since she started playing.

Gotta love the Piglet. It's the only league I can rack up a win at the moment as seven of last year's top eight are in the other half of the draw AKA the Group of Death. Don't think that it's all curly Tails and Bacon here though folks as Underdogs are unbeaten in Div I and The Ginger Ninjas are unbeaten in Premier League. The less said about myself, cobras and the cub in the other grades the better though!

Proposals to bring in changes to the promotional and relegational structure of this and other divisions are being voted on in the 2011 Hogg Shield Election. Have your say by participating in the poll.

Sensational news in the Piglet this week when the Pig himself scored his first Hogg victory. Piglet's Picks has improved from a team that scored 1100 odd in the first round to a personal best of 1754 to defeat the luckless bretts blues. Meanwhile Jack Grimes collapsable foot has doomed me to my second loss to Mrs Ginge in three seasons and that's about enough of that.

cobras still heads the field but have a look at that tiny tally of points scored against as it tells a tale. Meanwhile the sharks can't take a trick and a good look at the same column for his team shows that he is the unluckiest coach in the piglet...either that or the sharks are really coached by Matty Knights.

The missus was very happy last night when I told her she'd accounted for the REBCats again.

The Golden Greek cracked it for his first win after suffering four straight tight losses and no better way to open your account than to defeat the previously unbeaten Kiwi. After I called the cobras pretenders of the highest order in my Piglet email last week, the cobras have come out spitting fire and topped the league in scoring to smash his brother Brett by over 500 points in a handy percentage builder.

The top eight are sneaking away a bit due to the rather lopsided nature of the draw in this league but it will tighten up a bit by the end.

Plenty of Piglet coaches got career best tallies this week with bretty's blues finally recording their first ever Hogg triumph. Had a tough match against my brother in law Dale but Mrs REB lost both of her league games despite racking up 2401. Gibbo's Underdogs score well on a week to week basis and when the scores went up so did the Underdogs.

Latest Piglet. cobras still on top by percentage the dog! Speaking of which here come Underdogs who could very well make history to be the first Hogg coach to win back to back premierships.

The cobras coach was all at sea this week (literally, he is in the Navy) and the FNQ Trotters trotted in for a victory that paved the way for the REBCats to snaffle top spot. The sharks probably should have beaten me as I was one of many coaches who was without Buddy this week but somehow Duigan outscored Gibbs and victory is mine!

Underbelly scored their highest score for the year to beat a luckless Cub but pretty much everywhere else in the Piglet this week the matches went pretty much according to script. Jacks Stars are looking really shaky as far as a top eight berth goes as they have a very tough run home to the finals.

This week in the family or Piglet Shield there were three brothers vs. sisters matches and the sisters won the lot. Excuses will be flying fast around the family this week but justice has finally prevailed overall with the best team in the Piglet the Underdogs heading the table after 9 rounds.

There were upsets galore in this league with Gingernuts providing the biggest upset as his Premier League Ginger Ninjas were rolled by Bunny Bowlers BrenDamage in the Piglet league by a mere seven points. He just loves the close ones does Gingernuts!

It might be the most competitive Piglet of them all but that hasn't stopped Gibbo's Underdogs from rolling on to their tenth straight victory in what has been a powerhouse performance from the reigning Piglet premiers. Fellow Divvy I team Leisa's Lovelies smashed her lad the Cub's FOOTYLEDGENS this week while my REBCats continued their ownership of The Ginger Ninjas who we can beat no matter how poorly we are travelling or how well they are travelling.

Underbelly choked big time this week with the door open to the eight when they suffered an upset loss to BrenDamage who are one of the most improved teams in the competition. With new teams like Piglet's Picks and brett's blues knocking up 1900's compared to the 1400's they were getting in April and May, this league has become a lot more competitive.

Got cleaned up badly by the Underdogs in the Piglet. Not too happy about scoring over 2300 and getting rolled by 200 points I can tell you. Leisa's Lovelies lost only their second game of the year to fellow Division I side cobras but there was a big change with Mrs Ginge Jacks Stars finally tumbling out of the top eight as she has been threatening to do for many weeks.

My old dear FNQ Trotters has taken Jacks Stars place in the top eight and will prove very hard to shift.

There were some major movements in the Piglet Shield last week with Kiwi Krapper's and FOOTYLEDGENS both knocked out of the top eight after the Round 13 action. It will be pretty hard for FOOTYLEDGENS to get back in but the Krapper's have a reasonably easy run home so they might just snaffle a spot. The cobras got knocked out of the top four by Gingernuts (nice work Ginge) and the cobras could go on and miss the eight should the Kiwi fire up in the last two weeks of the season. As in Division I, The Underdogs remain unchallenged.

The missus got caught by the Shaw debacle last week (not that it would've helped her all that much). Poor thing traded him in on Thurday night to shore up her defence. Ended up with a big fat zero.
