Bit late i know but here goes.
Arguably the hardest week of all the supercoach weeks with the Split Round!
How to approach it? With a Didak a late omission last week, will he be ready for next week? I bloody well hope so!
Any other changes people thinking of?
West Coast have named 3 debutants which is good for those that may use a 2 trade option soon. Hopefully all three play this weekend!

Koby Stevens has apparently been burning up the track in the WAFL recently. Might be a good bet for those with the trades, especially if they have JKT or Shuey or BOTH if you are a truly dumb ****.

You have both of them REB?? Have noticed Stevens in the Bests every week for a while now so he could be an option!
I may take a punt on Leon Davis and/or Heath Shaw this week! Need to get over my donutitis as you put it REB.
Will be keeping Brown and hope he returns ready to smash out a couple big scores come finals time for me!!

Anyone doing the 'loophole' this week?
I can't because all of my bench players are playing this week

You put a player on the field whose team plays NEXT weekend but will not make their team
Then pick a VC who is playing this weekend. If he gets a huge score that you think will be >> than Ablett (if you have him) then next week you can switch the C to the non-playing player. His score won't count and so the VC score becomes your C score.
Quichey would have explained it better probably. I don't have any candidates who play next weekend I can use the trick on so will just stick with Ablett.

So if Im reading this correctly, using player examples, you would go in this week with Captain Ablett, VC - Hodge, and leave say Phil Davis on the field?
If Hodge scores say 150, then you next week you make Phil Davis your captain and collect the double on Hodge?

Almost. Make Phil Davis your captain and move him to the field. Have Ablett as emergency.
If you're happy with Hodge's score do nothing, if not, put the captaincy on Ablett.
And hope that Phil Davis doesn't play

What I've done is put Phil Davis as captain, Goddard on the bench, Hodge as V/C
So next week, I can sub in Goddard as (C) if Hodge does poo tonight?
If Hodge dominates, have Goddard as EMG, hope Davis doesn't play, or say Campbell Heath
Is this the theory?
Will Davis miss next week? Lol

(in my case)
Lake (VC)
Heath (C)
EMG: Goddard

1112 with 11 played and C(Goddard) still to play. Leisa Lovelies has 1490 with 15 played and captain played.
Should be a close finish next week.

WCY, did you take the C off Ablett? Leisa doesn't have Ablett. I lost to her by 5 points in the week when Ablett was out
