The most important question from this weeks fixture, is who to put as Supercoach captain?
THe underperforming Ablett of the last two weeks (has come back to the pack a bit after that 203 he scored 3 weeks ago), or the low scoring rd 9 player in Sandilands. ABlett with a game against Melbourne, Sandilands against a ruckless North Melbourne.
Other options include, Chapman against Melbourne, Goddard against Crows, Pavlich against the Kangas or Hodge against Sydeney in Melbourne!!
Any trades being looked at this week? Iv got both Kennelly and Drummond in my backline at the moment so will need a new defender soon!

Underperforming Captain? I'd take a 100 point captain every round.
As for trades, I reckon Martin has jumped the shark. Time to move him on and bring in a premium.

Also think Waters is due for an upgrade. If he keeps playing his current role across HFF he won't post big scores. Newman, H Shaw and Hargrave players that have dropped in their original price that could be possible upgrade targets.

Well, I have Kennelly and need to see how bad his knee is. Unfortunately the $100K I have spare doesn't get him to any of the defenders I want like Malceski, Hurn or Enright. Gilbert, Newman or Bock are about the only options I would take from who I don't have. Ideally I want to save the trade so I'll see how bad he is. 2 points !!!!!!

Underperforming because you want a captain to score 120 IMO each week. Ablett has not done the job in the last two weeks.
I will be thinking long and hard before i give Ablett the captaincy. Hodge has been in terrific knick, and like at Hawthorn, he is breathing down to take up the number 1 spot instead of being VC!

Good points. Hodge has been my perma-VC too, and has been smashing it.
I guess I just subscribe to the idea that I forked out for Ablett simply for him to be a perma-captain, and not have to agonise over a risky decision every week.

Yeah thats it! Iv stuck with Ablett and probably will, but i will think about it a bit more this week.
The only thing that strays me from going against Ablett, is the more less 120 games he has, the closer he is to another 150 plus game...

Hodge would make a pretty safe alternative Captain in the form he is in. what a gun!
As soon as you doubt Ablett though he scores 150+. I prefer to play the averages and keep him captain all the time.

Out for a month it seems. I think I'll have to move him on.

I've had Ben McGlynn since day dot and he STILL hasn't returned from a quad strain. Any word on him? I need his big scores in my midfield!!!

Goddard has been my skipper since R1, & I have been rewarded as such with healthy scores.
Have made 2 key trades this week, that have secured me a solid defender, & an emerging rookie...

Will definitely trade in Martin this week. Just have to decide between Dal Santo and Murphy. Would like Boyd, but I'm $20K short, dammit.

How many trades has everyone got left?
I burned too many at the start and have 11 remaining.
