Round 8 Trades

Postby CoverKing » Tue May 11, 2010 2:19 am

The question on most supercoaches mind, including mine at present, is who to trade in for Josh Drummond. A lot of teams have him in defence, and with a score of 43 on the weeked because of injury, and dipping massively in price, who is the right bloke to bring in!

I had three people in mind, and without having a look, im expecting two of them, Jordan Russell and Heath Scotland would both increase in price. The other one, was Lindsay Gilbee who had a stinker, but wont drop too much in price because he only just got below his break even.

Other trades people may be looking at is the Johnathon Brown form/injury concerns, Mitch Clark and his quad and im sure there are others that i cant think of at the moment!

I have to go on a Kangaroo Cull. Liam Anthony might be gone for the season and Ziebell is rubbish. I've also got Cyril so a few problems for the REBCats. At least I don't have Drummond as well.

Heath Shaw is a slightly left field option for Drummond.

I got drummond as well so i may trade him down to a rookie and upgrade a forward, my forward line is shocking and needs a premium or two.

Surely this week ROK, Goodes and Rioli can manage more than the 140 odd they got this week.

Looking at two options....

out: Ziebell, Trengove
in: Jaensch, J.Selwood or Swan

or

out: Ziebell, Trengove
in: Stevenson, Giansiracusa

Haven't done much research on Stevenson or Jaensch yet, but at the moment I'm leaning toward the second one.

Daniel Bradshaw was a dud this week too. Only got 4 in Supercoach.

Every Full Forward is a dud when they stand Matthew Scarlett.

After posting this, it looks like Heath Shaw could b the best bet, he will b playing in winning sides mostly so that will help. Did give consideration to grimes but it's a bit risky at the money, and duffield and broughton I steering clear of as I already have 3 freo players in my side and don't want too many more!!

Looking to cull a cash cow?

Boys on the bubble include:

Stevenson MID (WCE)
Roberton DEF (FRE)

If Webberley puts in another good performance this week in his second game then he will be a tasty downgrade for Silvagni or Nason who both could have just about peaked in price.

You're 1 week late! It's still doable but you might be better in the long run getting a $94K rookie like Hughes from Melbourne. No nothing about him I am just thinking about what you could do with the extra $90K.

I am looking at Dane Swan or some other premium midfielder this week.

True point hondo but im in a situation where i need my trade to be playing regularly. I plan to upgrade hall to a premium, but my downgrade for ziebell has to play as my bench players in rockliff and roberts aer hardly reliable and im trying to avoid 0's....

Im keen to get big Pav into my side and want to ditch Hall. Only have 25k so means I could ditch Gray for Dawes from pies then Goodesy to Pav, what are peoples thoughts? Then next week it leavews a bit of cash to get rid of Hall.

Other option is to swap Gray to betts and Hall to Dawes? Any other ideas out there?
