Best explanation i can give:
Magic number: this is the number to determine players values at the start of the year, for this example we will use 4000 (which is around the mark anyways)
Now for each point a player averaged last year they get a price, So if the magic number is 4000, someone who averaged 110 last year would be $440,000 (4000 per point) and someone who averaged 70 would start at $280,000.
Prices only change on a 3 round average, so if for the first 2 rounds:
Player A (ave of 110) scored 100,80 his break even score would be 150 to average 110 and stay at the same price. If they score 100 the would be 50 below their average and will get a negative price change, in this instance it would be $20,000 (magic number 4000 per 10 points)
Player B (ave of 80) scores 100 and 100 his break even would be 40. If he scores 100 again next round his value will go upwards of $24,000 due to the increased average of his scores.
