Will you make trades this week?

There's plenty of heated debate over the merits of making trades this week.
As most trades will essentially be sideways trades, it is considered in some circles a little rash to waste a valuable trade based on the judgement of two games. Others say there are benefits to a little fine-tuning.
What will you do?

Me...My two starting ruckman are giving me headaches, but I'm not going to waste the trades based on a rough couple of weeks. Instead, I will pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster each round in the hope they will come good and start posting 80+ each week.

I might look at some rookies who are set to have a massive price spike and swap them in at the expense of an underwhelming rookie. The extra cash might be worth the trade.

Maybe, Shannon Hurn has a 2 week suspension so don't think i can afford to have a player of his price tag not scoring.

Nothing wrong with making a trade or even two during bubble week. You want to maximise value at this stage of the year. An underperforming player who costs over 400k is going to cost you money and severely dent your chances of building a strong squad.
If you are averaging over 2200 a week though I wouldn't bother.

Big deal. He'll miss one league match. Use your bench. Hurn has been performing so you shouldn't trade him out.

My only problem is my bench blokes Jackson Trengove and Ben Nason are barley scoring 50 points.
May also trade Tippett but i think i will give him one more go, i think if the crows find form he will become handy again especially if the crows ruckmen Maric and Sellar can spend more time in the rucks.

Will be using my 2 trades this week. Will get rid of McPhee who is obviously being used differently by Harvey at Freo, and try and work Barlow onto my midfield bench.

Currently sitting in 15,869th place overall
With Hurn out suspended i have the option of trading him out for a player like Carazzo. Otherwise i can trade Tippett out for Seaby and then swap Hurn for any defender in the game.
Big decision time for me because if i keep Hurn he will miss my first league game. My first fixture is against radelaide who is averaging 1346.50 but is on the improve. Don't know if i can afford to have a Nason or J.Trengove in for a player of that value.

Hurn's a keeper. That's what the bench is for, albeit the bench player may not have Hurn's scoring potential but you may get lucky and at the very least you'll avoid a donut.

You can win the match against Radelaide and save the trade for later on in the year. You would be mad to burn a trade. You can carry donuts and win matches against teams that can't average 1500.

I reckon you should keep McPhee until after I've played you.

Only issue is it looks like i am playing someone who averages 2000 in the SAFooty cash league. Oh the dramas of being a coach.
