LOL .. When I was assessing key players a few weeks back, my thinking was on JB "Champion player - Gets his injuries and odd quieter game out of the way in the first 6-9 weeks of the season" lol well Eff Me, got that one wrong!! :?

PS: Would LOVE to see the big fella win a Brownlow, so hope he keeps it up regardless of DT/SC

Very happy i benched Nason and brought in Maguire and he turns up a 100SC pretty good result for him.

Also in DT i had Ryan Houlihan who managed 85, ill be pretty happy with him if he can average 85+ everyweek.

He was talking about his improved mobility and kicking distance (following off-season hip surgery) in the interview straight after the game.
Might just give the medal a nudge if he is consistent.

I couldn't believe it when I saw his name in your side. With Luenberger back there is no way he will replicate last year's scores, ditto Paddy Ryder.

I was pretty happy with Bower this time last week but he missed last night and it will be Silvangi who will make his debut for the REBCats. Strutties are still carrying Robbie Gray in a move I hope I don't end up regretting. Might trade in Hitchcock for cover during the bubble week.

Yep, I really fudged up my ruck combo too. Dammit. In hindsight, for the same price I could have had H-Mac/Kruezer, instead of Clark/Ryder.

It's sure looking that way. With no other major problems (bar Gray) I'm thinking 1 trade before prices change to fix Clark (to Kruezer) might be a smart move. Puts $80K into the bank for later too.

The thinking was to lock in 2 premium rucks in Sandilands and Clark and set and forget for the season. But that thinking assumed Clark was a premium which, in hindsight, looks optimistic. He was a scoring machine late last year but, as you say, that was without Luenberger.

The thing is that it looks like there's deeper problems with Clark than just Luenberger being back. He doesn't seem into it. What's the take on his form up there?

I just can't afford to have a $500k investment scoring 50s and Kruze has scores of 118 and 115.

REB, I'm holding Gray too.

My in hindsight pre round 1 moves should have been:

Clark - Kreuzer
Gray - Brown

However, I don't think burning 2 trades to make those moves now is wise. oh well.

That's the big dilemma. Do you burn the trades or hope for a form reversal? It is still early and no doubt Clark, Ryder etc. have the class to post big scores. I'd be bummed if I made the trades and they suddenly come good.

It's all about Fev and Browny at the moment. At 2-0 there's no heat on Clark at this stage.

74 from O'Brien this week. Could be a big drop off from last week's score coming up. Let's hope it's a universal trend.

I thought 68 from Trengove was OK for his second game. All I want is him to get picked and then as long as he keeps improving his scores I am happy.

My 3 St Kilda guns in Dal Santo, Riewoldt and Goddard are on 340 between them at 3/4 time
