Might be a few donuts for some teams in the ruck division, willies only have 1 ruck and bubbles blunders 2nd ruck is out to mid season .
Would be quiet a nasty stratergy to just draft rucks at the start and hold the rest of the coaches to ransom
Goodluck everyone :D

Got a couple of MPP (Stefan Martin & David Hale)
True I may not win too many hit out categories, but thats only one of nine

Nice one brod you are covered, just saw the ruck empty and presumed you had no coverage, you have some good emerg and bench players too
How david hale is a ruck and petrie isnt I dont know

Petrie was a permanent forward last year was he not?

Yeah that's what I thought. May of gone into the Ruck for a tiny part of each game but not a great deal

Just a question, is the % in the category based system, scoring accuracy, or disposal efficiency?

I am confused about the scoring system, reading on the website its the catergory based system which should be a point for each of the 9 catergories but the total points seem to be up to 23
Have I missed something :?

Different Stats have different Point Values;

(KI) 2
(FF) 3
(HB) 1
(FA) 3
(MA) 3
(HO) 1
(SCORE) 1
(TK) 4
(%) 5

Not sure if this is the standard setting or they were set for this league?

Thanks wooley :D
thats alot of points for goal kicking accuracy and not much for handballs and hit outs, going to have to rethink the team

They were set up for this league. Who ever sets the league up has a few different choices to make.

For example, the other league I'm in has 12 teams, 9 categories, 18 on the field with only 1 ruck, lock out is game by game, not Friday night, no need for a captain as each stat is 1 point to the team

I don't either, lol...

Not bad for a quickly set up league, but with a few minor tweaks next season, these leagues will be massive!

I'm actually enjoying this format (well the other league I'm in) better than dream team and supercoach.

This was my team and score from my other league last weekend.

BACKS
Gibbs
Goddard
Hibberd
Newman
Grundy

CENTRES
Ibbotson
Clarke
Broadbent
Thompson (crows)
McKenzie
Clay Smith

RUCK
McCauley

FOWARDS
Higgins
Hill
de Boer
Milne
Wingard
Hoskin Elliott

EMERGENCIES
B. Rutten
C. Edwards
R. Stewart
F. Howe

Score 12.9.81 (10.14.74)
% .571 (.417)
K 212 (203)
H 125 (150)
M 94 (94)
HO 9 (56)
T 43 (55)
FF 15 (20)
FA 15 (16)

My opposition is in brackets

As you can see in that starting 18 my ruck and a fwd didn't play and therefore got my emergencies in. In the case of the fwd, it was a case if a deliberate donut because Howe had a great game on and was going to score more than C.Cornes who was selected in my original team. 1 of the benefits of the rolling lockout.
