WYCBLOODS

I might move it down here as the Lions seem to be doing well early.

wycbloods POD's
Newman
H Shaw
Judd
Moloney
Cross
Chapman
Watson (Hamstring)
B. Harvey
Stevie J CAPT
J Roo
Rioli (hamstring)

Longwood Lions (in a smokey room: smokers should not live in straw houses!)

Suckers
Grundy
Broughton
Pendels
A. Swallow
Priddis
Silvia
Goodes
Ablett CAPT

Interesting you seem to have added Enright and Watson.

The big difference is your expectations of Stevie J making him CAPTAIN. You must have superior coaching skills to pressure the magician into performing at the required level (or you believe that Craig will use Johncock on him (no hope the new guy will pace him))

Big late breaking news though I Smith, scoring well, is on my field, but only an Emergency for you?

May the best team succeed

Unless Ablett breaks a leg and Pendlebury does a knee(i don't want this to happen even for my SC) i won't get within 300 points this week :( :( .

Smith on the bench just to rub it in.

Looks like a fight for eigth spot.
With a few of us going for overall and maybe running out of trades finals time, and with Carlton & Geelong both having byes finals time, this can be won by anyone who makes the 8.

Hips don't lie v far q this week!

HDL also has bottom two sides after the game against Far q. If HDL wins this week, he will come 8th IMO

Next week!

HDL and myself have 3 Hawks players each, so will be equally affected by their bye. Will be a close one!

WLF....... good to meet you at last. :D

This round for top spot and looks very even.
The outs affect us both, no captain issues, so some of the lesser players may tell the story.
We may have got here on different strategies but I hope mine works for the money.
NOW my claim to a psychological advantage!
As I have not been concentrating on a total score, I have planned for the Final series, I still have 5 trades and $400k.
So my plan is to upgrade each of my bye players during the finals to someone with 10- 15 points better average pending the General and LTI's but I think I have both covered.

By the way how is young JD going at CLG?

I've gone pretty hard in my quest for total points - this league would be a bonus - still have a plan but a few late injuries and stupid betting scandals have put me off track so will need a little luck come last few games.
Good luck it will be very close.

JD is a top bloke and has been good. Still needs to be more confident and back himself against older guys but definitely one of our best in and under players.
Haven't seen much footy last few weeks - unfortunately work and injuries have caught up with me this year - must be getting old :)

One possession at half time. I think you just handed me the win.

I wish I could say I was tanking. First friday I was too busy to check my team. Paying the price. Frustrating watching it all unfold.
