Media Park looks set to win his first ever Hogg Premiership if this week's round is anything to go by. Jimmy crack corn eclipsed his nearest rival by three hundred points this week and was far too good for top four opposition True North FC. I think next month will end in tears for True North and Failed Creation as Jimmy crack corn and Multiple Scorgasms look the better sides. Failed Creation gave up top spot after their percentage took a bit of a hit when they recorded a three point win against an unlucky Leisas Lovelies. I reckon they are the four sides that go up though as there is a fair drop off in class after fourth ranked True North.

One side that might prove to be tricky if they can qualify is St Brays Saints who have had to do it the hard way. They have returned to the top eight for the first time in many weeks and I don't think I can get away with not mentioning them this time after I gave them Crickets last time. If the eight was as it is I'd back the Saints to beat Damage and earn a shot at promotion. Damaged Ink and The Mine Crafters both scored important wins that have probably secured their finals place and the Razorbacks should be in the eight even though they haven't really been that impressive this season.

Just outside gfc have had one stumble too many and might find it hard to get back into the eight. Team MK have been in reasonable form recently but aren't really racking up big enough to scores to challenge and the Lovelies just can't get over the line against the better sides. For the rest White Line Fever has shown some delayed form but he is far too good a coach to be in 12th spot in the lowest Hogg League and he has underperformed.

The bottom five have performed as expected although Victorious Secret has had a few good games as have twe. Lily's iSwiTch is the best of the rest and once again Strawb has retained his 'worst in the Hogg' mantle.

Jimmy crack corn has won the Minor Premiership in Hogg Division V after a thrilling four point win over Multiple Scorgasms. I reckon these two teams will meet again in a more important match later in the season as I have said earlier in this thread so this premiership is a real toss up. That wasn't the only close match in this league - twe also defeated Victorious Secret by four points to secure a late season consolation win and Failed Creation appears to have lost form at the wrong end of the season after suffering an 18 point loss to gfc_firm.

This was a bad result for St Brays Saints who once again failed to impress when the opportunity to present itself. Brendan's Damaged Ink did just that in another reasonably close clash and this result has the Saints scrambling in the last round. The problem is that gfc_firm plays against wooden spooner TheCrew in the last round so it looks like the Sainters have blown it.

There's been some brilliant banter in the Sike Box in Division V with Minor Premier Jimmy crack corn throwing down the gauntlet in no uncertain terms. Media Park has 'fessed' up to having no trades and 700k sitting on the bench (know how you feel dude!) as he can't replace Ablett. Now Parky might be no good at bluffing or he could be very bloody good at it it's wait and see. Parky might need to do more than bluff though because Multiple Scorgasms has the scoring patterns of a side that is looking to go up a few divisions instead of this one divvy at a time shit. Another 2500 from him sees them pretty big favourites to upset Mrs Creation.

Meanwhile Failed Creation is in very real danger of living up to their name. A loss to a team outside the top four on the eve of the finals is not what they would be looking for and these blokes have straight sets written all over them. Failed Creation only needs one win to qualify for Division IV next season and it could be red faces at home as the Missus easily goes up while Creation has to sweat it out. Damaged Ink is the reason for the stink and gfc_firm are also looking dangerous and Failed Creation needs to beat one of those teams if , in all likelihood they can't get past jimmy this week.

The other Elim is between BrettRazorbacks who have scored bugger all for most of the season but racked up enough points to have a competitive finals series against this weekend's opponent The Mine Crafters who did a disappearing act. You'd think Bretty would win the re-match.

Well, Jimmy crack corn wasn't bluffing. After fessing up to no trades he promptly rolled out a pretty sad looking score and Failed Creation swooped to take the win and earn promotion to Hogg Division IV next season. Joining Failed Creation will be Multiple Scorgasms who racked up an impressive 2482 to defeat an unlucky True North who got a good enough score to beat most other finalists this weekend. Jimmy has a bit of a problem now as they have to face a red hot gfc_firm who look to have the tools to boot out Jimmy in straight sets.

In the knockout finals there was one unlucky coach and a fortunate one. The unlucky Brendan got knocked out of the comp even though he scored 2310 which wasn't enough to defeat gfc_firm. I'm not sure but I reckon both of these teams got their highest score of the year so Brenny a bit unlucky to get his best score and get knocked out. In the other knockout game scoring was down as neither coach managed 2200. The Crafters won the day but don't appear to have the weapons to stop True North from earning promotion next week but while there is life there is hope for young Moe Jnr.

A bit ho hum down here in Division V as predictably, the 'big four' went up to Division IV. Congratulations to Jimmy crack corn and True North FC who have joined Multiple Scorgasms and Failed Creation in Hogg Division IV next season. Both of the Semis were fairly one sided affairs with gfc being the only losing team to really give a yelp as The Mine Crafters were flogged by True North.

In next week's Prelim it is indeed a Creation derby in the Prelim and it might not be the last derby Prelim we see this year. What better way than to celebrate joining your man's SuperCoach comp by booting him out in the Prelims. The other Prelim is between two of the stand out teams of the year with Multiple Scorgasms scoring particularly well in recent weeks.
