7 in a row for Duromine hey?!

A bit similar to Richmond heading into last years elimination final.

Hopefully the same result!

Going for back to back and in a Prelim...sound more like the Hawkers. ;)

Hogg Division II Preliminary Finals

1st Preliminary Final
Hips Don't Lie 2457
Spud Factory FC 2351

2nd Preliminary Final
Crack of Trust 2274
Duromine Dependent 2137

Hips Don't Lie have cranked out a handy 2457 which was a good enough score for them to win both of their Preliminary Finals in Hogg Elite and here in Hogg Division II. Hippy's prize for this result is a free pass to Hogg Division I next season which is a fine effort after they fell behind their mate Les's Men a couple of seasons back. Hips Don't Lie had to shake off Spud Factory FC, the top scoring team in the league as they saluted by over a hundred to qualify for the Grand Final next week.

In the other Prelim, the team of the year Crack of Trust saw off the team of the second half of the season although both teams' scoring was down. That won't worry beadie though as the 'juniors' have qualified for Hogg Division I and their first ever Hogg Grand Final. Duromine left their run a bit late this season and ultimately the loss of the double chance proved fatal, as did the opening half of the season where they were travelling about as well as Carlton.

Congrats to the promoted sides and good luck in the Grand Final next week.
