IMO the chances of him becoming a premium player are low.

Massive choice...Shuey is on the brink of been a super player, stepped up massively last year and definitely can improve again. Like your thinking with Beams though, should play lots of footy this year, and averaged 100 last year.

I'd go with Beams.

Beams might want Pendles, Swanny & Thomas to spud it up before he starts averaging 110+. The points can only be shared around so much.

Jack Grimes....again!!!! #-o

MELBOURNE co-captain Jack Grimes has hurt his shoulder at training this morning, continuing his cursed run with injuries.

It is not yet clear how badly hurt the 22-year-old is after the collision which happened a short time ago during the Demons' training session at AAMI Park.

Grimes was left clutching his shoulder in pain after a collision with young defender Troy Davis.

Both players were attempting to spoil a Sam Blease mark when they collided and Grimes landed heavily on his shoulder.

Grimes, who has been appointed co-captain with Jack Trengove, has failed to play a full season in four years at the top level.

Last year he played only six games before suffering a foot stress fracture after suffering previous back injuries.

The news was an extra blow for the Demons, who revealed today forward Liam Jurrah would not play football at any level for at least four weeks after a wrist injury failed to heal.

Thinking of punting on him, having second thoughts now even though he's been given the all clear.

Not sure how Brown was ever a lock. He'll take time to get up to full steam seeing as he hasn't had match practice and you can rely on him being double teamed a fair lot. Karnezis looks the better value.

Brown was never a lock for me, but at under $400k I was considering him as a 'value premium'.

He is in my draft squad, but will be disappearing next time I log in.

Latest Reports say Brown could resume training as early as Monday

I'm gonna take a risk and stick with him, even if his head is made of Violet Crumble

Is Kruezer much of an option in ruck? Considering him as a possible bargain premium in my ruck setup, but can't recall what his scoring was like pre his 2011 injury issues.

Speaking of rucks, what's the story with the ruck rule changes? Can someone please explain these to me?
