The Cats from the North are the new top Cat in town after they defeated Parky and Noel's Caravans brought the winning run of Bunnyhop to an end. Heater joining the leading group on 5-1 when they recorded the regulation thumping of straggler Norfolk-On-Chance. JJs Jrunks and Noel's Caravans have emerged from the ruck to be likely contenders so sides such as Bunnyhop, Hollands Heroes and crockocrack in particular had better look out. There appear to be a couple of top four places up for grabs here although the Northern Cats and Heater's Hotshots look safe I reckon.

At the bottom of the ladder we still have three teams without a win and they probably won't win until the bottom of the barrell cup matches start. Meanwhile Bretts razorbacks and BrendDamage have once again been rolled in two leagues despite scoring a decent enough score. Outside the eight JJs Jrunks and BrenDamage look likely challengers but I'm not liking the rest despite the reasonable 3-3 win loss records. A closer look at the percentage tells a big story of what is going on in the Warren this season. A special mention to Theile here as he became the first coach to record a score of less than a thousand this season. If you can't be the best, ya might as well be the worst. ;)

A very open comp this.

The young Bunny himself has hopped back to the top of the ladder in the Warren after they demolished the Mighties by nearly a thousand to rack up the percentage. Most of the top eight sides managed to consolidate their position but JJ's Jrunks and Noel's Caravans in particular (looking in very good form at the moment) took advantage of a couple of lapses from teams above them to stake a claim for the finals.

The top eight sides that had the costly defeats were The Glory Shed that had an opportunity to roll the Northern Cats and Parky Crusaders who lost a match to Joe's GIANTS who have been pretty ordinary for most of the year despite the 4-3 record. This week the GIANTS had their best ever week in SuperCoach picking up wins in the Piglet and the Bunny and they remain a finals chance in this league if they can continue to improve. That was a very costly loss indeed for Parky who lost his top eight spot to BrenDamage who finally broke through for a win after a couple of losses.

The bottom sides still haven't played off against each other but Thiele looks the worst of a bad lot and Strawb could end up winning one or two this season.

The Northern Cats are back on top of the Bunny Bowl standings after this week's action after they cleaned up Brett's razorbacks. Bunnyhop had considerably more difficulty getting past fellow top four contender Heater's Hotshots and dropped to second despite their victory. Noel's Caravans continue to press strongly for a finals berth at the expense of JJs Jrunks who will had their way to the top eight barred for another week.

The Glory Shed and Parky's boys snuck into the top eight with BrenDamage one side that took a bit of a tumble on the weekend. Of the struggling sides only Norfolk-On-Chance had one as they only just prevented Thiele's mob from Crowing for the first time this season. MIGHTYS and Strawb both scored less than Thiele and are looking more and more the laziest Bunnies in the Warren just as they were last year. The Hooligans are once again Raging but there isn't much room for error with so many wins and such a high percentage required just to make the finals.

Last week I lost, Brendamage won, and that saw me out of the eight.

I had to beat him this week, just to make everything right in the world...

Noel's Caravans and the Jrunks are the big winners of the first bye week as Noel has moved into the top four and JJ's Jrunks are now inside the eight. Not such a good week for contenders, Hollands Heros, Heaters Hotshots and crockocrack and Parky also copped a fright from Norfolk-On-Chance who didn't live up to the team name.

Raging Hooligans have been in some good recent form and are knocking on the door and all is not lost for BrenDamage who scored an important win over The Glory Shed. While the Shed were kicked out of the eight, this didn't mean that BrenDamage is in though so plenty to do yet for the Damage. Bretts razorbacks won his second match of the season and is scoring much better than the ladder positions suggest but you can't say that about the bottom three who continue to stink up the joint.

Former ladder leaders Northern Cats have gone south in a big way after copping a belting from BrenDamage who has finally lived up to his name. It's a terrible result for Andy as the other top four contenders all scored massive wins.

Hats off to Strawb who scored a record low 372 in his match against Noel's Caravans who won by a lazy 1326 points. Parky Crusaders could rue a loss to low scoring iSwitCh in a result that could cost him a finals place. iSwitCh and Joes GIANTS are somehow still alive in the Bunny despite scoring bugger all but you'd think their days are numbered. I'm like Noel for the Bunny this year although my lad Bunnyhop has a team that is strong in many areas.

The spoon race is wide open with a statistical anomoly of three teams all failing to register a win after ten rounds. The AFL must have drawn up this fixture!
