Despite some stressing on the weekend, Squiddy remains on top in Division V after he shook off a determined Bunnyhop. Right behind is one of the favourites for the Division V flag whufc who had a hard fought win against Heater's Hotshots. The Cowboys from Hazelwood Park racked up a fantastic score to defeat an unlucky wonder elephants who have found some good scoring form lately even if they miss out on four points this week. The Glory Shed had plenty of it as they held on to defeat Lightining and THE CHAMPS had an unexpected percentage booster as Strut B really stunk up the joint. That performance could cost the Strutties a place in the finals this season that's how close this league is.

The Caravans finally got some good reward for good scoring as they won their second match of the season but things are starting to look grim for Mossy as his boys were rolled by the last ranked team on the ladder for the second straight week. JJs Jrunks have also improved massively this year and this week they sank the Motorboats and are starting to climb out of the cellar...too bad Jrunks..that's where the wine bottles are think man think!

All in all another top week in Division V with Squiddy and Hammers the big winners by staying ahead of the chasing pack.

OK young Bunnyhop, I've made a couple of late changes as I cannot afford to drop another game. Gonna be a close one. Good luck!

Squiddy is a game clear on top of the Division V ladder after the seventh round after second ranked hammers put in a shit one and was punished in this league as he tumbled down to 6th spot on the ladder. The Glory Shed got a gold pass this week as pafc1870 stunk up the joint but the Cowboys from Hazlewood Park announced themselves as a Divvy V contender by pounding the highly rated whufc by 350 odd points. OUCH.

crockocrack hasn't had much of a mention in these Hogg write ups but they have been solid in both leagues that they are a part of and they sit in a comfortable third place and would start favourites if they had to play a Quallie against the Shed right now. The Hotshots continue to go about their business and the wonder elephants have managed to sneak back into the eight. Then again, how in the **** does an elephant manage to sneak anywhere?

The Caravans and Jrunks are looking sharp outside the eight but I can't see any real contenders apart from them. Bunnyhop won their bottom of the ladder contest which means that the woolballs have dropped to the floor of the shearing shed.

EIMC stunk big time, I think Mark Neeld is at the helm. Going for some altitude training during the bye rounds, trading has been deplorable.

I'm sure the players on my team will revolt and try to get me sacked for thinking "Sidebum will continue his big scores against the Suns, I'll make him captain".

This league tightened up once again with only four matches separating top ranked Nek Mnnit and last placed BloodnTars. Any one of 18 teams could win the premiership and as you can see nearly all coaches scored 2000 this week. The odd one out was Sturt B who have been struggling for several weeks but despite this they are only two games outside of the top eight with plenty of weeks to turn it around.

As the weeks go by I'm liking the Cowboys to win this one more and more as their scoring has been very consistent in recent rounds. Squiddy's tentacles relaxed a bit as they now share the leadership on the ladder with the Glory Shed holding a very slender .04% margin. It is going to be a great finals series in this league.

I reckon Noel's Caravans have their show on the road despite a rather lowly ladder position - I'm tipping them to make the eight and do well. The hammers have been a little under the pump in recent matches but he's too good to struggle down here so I expect whufc to go deep into August. THE CHAMPS did well this week to rack up 2320 to consolidate their spot in the eight and woolballs climbed off the bottom of the ladder by recording a credible 2308 to knock the Tars out of the Bloods.

There was a reshuffling of the pack this week as the bye played havoc amongst teams in the middle part of the ladder. This week there were plenty of struggling teams to notch a victory - Sturt B, pafc1870, Mossys Superstars, Bunnyhop, BloodnTars and woolballs all beat teams above them on the ladder in the fight to avoid relegation.

At the top end of the ladder we have a new ladder leader in the Cowboys from Hzlwood Pk who roped in the lead spot after Squiddy had to fight hard to defeat The Glory Shed in a tight encounter that cost him percentage points. The Shed's loss was a costly one with all of the other top four contenders racking up wins and skipping away to leave them in fourth spot just ahead of a massive ruck gathering behind them.

Only one yummy doughnut this week, thank you Beau Waters. Looks like Jj's jrunks will have a fairly full squad as well, should be a close game.

Far out this is a tough league. 4 wins and I'm still in relegation.

1 win between 7th and 17th. Unbelievable.

As Squiddy has told you the mighty Neks are top of the ladder once again after whufc and the Cowboys both dropped the ball during the second bye week. THE CHAMPS led the Caravans all day to record a top win and crockocrack made a statement by thumping the Cowboys to consolidate their spot in the top eight.

The real news in this league is the changes in the relegation zone with Sturt B in real trouble now after losing massively to Bunnyhop. Even worse for the Strutties was the performance of woolballs, Mossys Superstars and..........................BloodnTars who have all performed well during the bye period so far. A team that is hating the byes is wonder elephants who have copped two heavy defeats to relegation zone teams and now they are out of the top eight. At this stage of the year Motorboats and Sturt B look destined for the Bunny Bowl next year but the heat is on to avoid the drop for several other teams.
