I won't be making any trades until round 7 at the earliest. Why, do you ask?? I have no idea. No need to make any really. Especially with Selwood back this week. I am going to start whooping arse
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

In: Curnow, Out: B. Harvey
In: Tapscott, Out: T. Walker

This will give me $572,500 free in the salary cap and am hoping the rookies can gather some cash over the next few rounds and then I can try and sort my team out come round 7 when the head to heads are back on.

Sheesh how much cash do you need? Curnow has played against the Tigers and the Suns yet you are prepared to sacrifice a premium in order to get him? Tapscott in fair enough but the Curnow-Harvey trade seems a waste to me, especially as you can't really vouch for Curnow's job security once he starts playing against the better sides. Perhaps the one trade would be better for this week.

REB

I figured with North having the bye and then three rounds without head to head matches I'd see how much cash can accrue with more rookies and then bring back some premiums when we get back to head to head matches in Round 7. May be a waste of a trade and I'm hoping Harris and Swallow score well this week for GC to cover for Harvey or any other premium I might have brought in.

Captain this week? Goddard is killing me... Obviously dont have Swan ](*,)

Thinking of going with Boyd. Big potential to destroy the Suns!

Boyd v the GC should be a good choice.

Although one thing I noticed with the Carlton game last week was how much the points were spread around a large number of players rather than there being one stand out.

That said, you'd think Boyd will get 120+

yeah have seriously considered going with Boyd as captain this week, only risk is that he is a tad injury prone, once the result is out of question will he be rested.

also my opponent doesnt have Swan, i do, should i just with Swan as captain.

risk vs reward.

Riewoldt in his 200th game against an Essendon team with a depleted backline could be a good smokey.

How about Buddy v Richmond?

I will be sticking with my perma-captain for the time being, Dane Swan.

Buddy and Boyd will do well but why get off a gun in Swan? It's like getting off Black Caviar for a favourite in a country provincial race. You just don't do it.

Ha! Its a fickle game so don't blame me when Goddard & Boyd both crack 150 and captain Pendles does a Selwood Friday night........I'm sticking with Swan myself
