Not sure on Moran, but Bailey has played at least one game in the VFL. Could be a chance. I'll probably have him as my 4th ruck. I've found rookie rucks the hardest to pick this year.

Agreed Droppy. In the end I've decided to dodge the popular sex on the beach strategy and gone with Sandi + Vickery with Petrie on the bench and one of the GSC boys as 4th ruck. I think this will give me extra flexibility in the byes whilst not parking too much cash on the bench.

No doubt REB thinks this strategy is sh1t though, like most things I do (and I'm yet to prove him wrong on that one unfortunately  ).

Each to their own but i wouldnt have anything more than 100k on my rucks bench, in fact prob on all my benches unless they are a high draft pick from last season ie swallow or conca or gaff...

Yep for sure. I just think this year there is bugger all in rookie rucks. Probably won't pay off, but I think it's a good calculated risk to take, and could prove to be a good point of difference to other teams. Petrie is only just over $200g after all - not a great increase on $110g rookie.

Few spanners thrown into the works. Otten named on the bench, could possibly end up as a sub. Also, no Polec named for Brisbane. And very unexpectedly, Bulldogs have selected Liberatore on field, with Wallis on an extended bench.

Ouch ouch ouch! Was really relying on him getting up - in fact, just today I was thinking that Polec better not get injured or the plan is stuffed...ah well, here comes Sir Mixalot again...

Not a bad looking Cat side even though we are a bit light on up front. Got no respect for Mackie though.

5th I reckon. Be surprised if he had any cartilidge left!

Cartilidge is over rated I have not had any in one knee since 19 yo.
They just keep saying go for as long as you can before replacement.
Only issue is one side is now 1/2 inch shorter than the other (which present's its own issues)!

Made Gibbs my VC and hugely stoked at his SC score (133). Reckon I'll lock that one in.

Did anyone put Blues rookie Ed Curnow in their team - the lad carved up (120 SC)? Conversely, did anyone fall for the Yarran hype, who ended up spudding out a lowly 30 SC?

He never really got tagged during the pre-season, so roamed free across half-back and pumped out some good scores. Was always going to cop a tag once the real stuff began, so the gamble was whether he was going to be good enough to break it. Wasn't good enough tonight, but it's only one game.
