Three starting rookies in the midfield. It's an interesting concept considering last year's mainstream structure was to have one starting rookie per line (excluding rucks). Given we are spoilt for choice of rookies in the midfield, and bereft of choice in the other lines, it makes sense to pick the three rookies with the best prospects regardless of what position they are in.

At this stage I have two starting rookies in the midfield, but no Ablett. A third starting rookie in the midfield and Ablett is mine.

Rhys Stanley. Takes no brain surgeon. He will be getting game time even if it's not in the ruck. Thought u blokes knew how to play this game??

Bailey's done a knee so that leaves Grimley. Not quite as keen on Stanley as some. I would suggest that the Hawks could cover a Mitchell before they could lose yet another ruckman.

I am contemplating ditching the Biggest guy and putting in Hille he is relatively cheap compared to 2007-08 form. Could be the big improver in the Ruck and frees up cash to get Reiwoldt, who I haven’t been able to fit in as yet. However I need him to average in the 80s- 90s.

Hille might be playing in the forward line and won't get off to a flyer against Scarlett.

If you only care about your league and you think he's important to your team then save the trade and put him in your starting team.

If he's 50-50 only then pick someone else like Hunt.

If you were trying for an overall ranking goal then I'd definitely not start him.

Hey, what do you think about Bastinac? Start round 1? Regular games?
