7/8 midfielders (only Wines didnt) and both ruckmen score over 100, just cannot get much from my defenders and my forwards are either hit or miss. Thought Byrnes and Gillies (POD) would have scored reasonable for Melbourne but both have been crap, like their team. Karnezis as sub wasnt good either.

going on this weeks scores you will flog me*, but anything could happen yet. although last season i started well and truly on top of the ladder, before a slow, embarrassing slide to the bottom (and only luckily avoided relegation!) i suppose the first head to head game isnt too early to start the repeat this season

It was a series of small paper cuts for me this week.

I had planned on VC-ing ablett and having Pendles ready to go with the loophole, but all 30 of my players got selected so was unable to do so.
Ablett's 99 vs Pendles 121 cost me 22 points straight away.
Down back Hartlett was on the field (38) and Stevenson (93) on the bench. Another 55pts thrown away.
In the middle Toumpas (24) on the field with Dwyer (110) on the bench. There's 86 pts I won't get back!
Up forward Tex Walker's 39 (no idea why I have this spud in my side anyway) could have easily been 86 if I had Neade on the field. (47 points wasted).

So just there I've missed out on 210pts. 2310 sounds a lot better!

Anyway, nothing I can do about it now, time to move on.

Not sure what I'll do trades wise this week. Might post some inital thoughts in the Rd 3 discussion thread.

i wish i was as confident as you Brod, i may be in front on average, but im pretty sure bubbles posted our divs highest score last week. on lasts weeks scores ill lose by over 100!!
