It was a super effort by the Clark Kents this week as they punctured HOLLANDS rolling start to the season to leap into second spot in Hogg Division IV this week. Bens Rolfsbergers are a game clear now and will be hard to top for the flag although eddieslittleindians now leads the scoring for the division and can't be ignored. Benny's victory over Nothing But Class has dropped the Class to the bottom and into the relegation zone after The Hotshots scored an important victory over the CHAMPS to get themselves out of danger.

Early season frontrunnner Nutkickers has now dropped a second straight game after winning the first seven and another team who has suffered the same fate is the FNQ Trotters who won four in a row to get into the top eight and has now dropped two in a row to go back to 12th. whufc has overcome a tardy start to take the Trotters' spot in the eight and Duromine Dependent are doing a fair impression of Richmond at the moment as they refuse to budge from Ninth. DAISYS DUDS proved they were anything but as they beat the lad who isn't scoring as well as a 6-3 record might indicate and they remain a vulnerable team in the top eight for those on the outside. Park, Spideys and The Glory Shed all look doomed but Nothing But Class is scoring too well to get relegated dispite enduring an extended losing run at the moment.

No. Some bye rounds, just by pure chance, you can come up against a team you have no chance against and vice versa.

Clark Kents have served a warning to the rest of the competition with an commanding victory over fellow contenders DAISYS DUDS. The Kents racked up 2154 which overshadowed the efforts of high scoring teams such as the Indians and the Rolfsbergers. The Rolfs still lead the comp after ten after they cleaned up HOLLAND'S HEROS who are starting to struggle a bit. Team LEO is in the same boat having lost their past two matches after sitting pretty prior to the bye period.

Duromine Dependent snuck into the top eight this week after beating the Hotshots in a low scoring encounter with whufc's trip to the top eight a short lived one. The hammers were well beaten by eddieslittleindians who claimed another scalp. The FNQ Trotters and Nutkickers got back on the winning list after dropping their past two matches but the team that might be a sneaky chance of relegation is Blighty Teasdale who have been teasing us all so far this season but they are cooking with gas now.

At the arse end of the ladder the Spideys got a consolation win against Parky Crusaders but it's hard to see them finishing ahead of Nothing But Class who have forgotten how to win and The Hotshots who need another win or two to secure their divvy IV spot next year.

Still cant make the 8 yet, (or Reb's write up for that matter) ;)

As in Hogg Premier and Division II, the top two sides played off this week with the top side confirming their status with a big win. Bens Rolfsbergers are one of the best teams in the Hogg and easily the team to beat in this division as they proved to be Kryptonite to the Clark Kents. The Nutkickers snuck into second spot as they accounted for a fading HOLLANDS HEROS. The hammers and onegameatatimers are into the top eight as Moe served up defeat to the dependent ones and the hammers hammered the Spideys.

It wasn't a good weekend for the youngsters as LEO lost their third straight match to slip out of the eight as Nothing But Class finally lived up to their name and stayed in the fight to avoid relegation. Unfortunately for Class, The Hotshots managed to win a game despite scoring only 1003 points. It's out of Hotshots, Class and Champs to see who stays up as Spideys down look goneski.

The Nutkickers have emerged as a Sleeping Giant in the Hogg Shield this season and it seems as though they have booked themselves a double chance in Hogg Division IV. They handed Clark Kents their second straight loss against top four opposition and the kickers are only one game behind the all power Bens Rolfsbergers who have now won eleven of twelve matches at this level. eddieslittleindians are on the warpath as well after slamming the door on the shed but I really need May-Z to drop one soon as I'm running out of Indian jokes.

Blighty Teasdale has moved into the top eight and this weekend's loss was a bitter pill for Duromine Dependent to swallow. They haven't quite had the right prescription all year and I'm not positive they'll make the eight. HOLLANDS HEROS season looked to be heading South at a rate of knots but this week they won the all important clash with another out of form side in Team LEO. LEO looks long odds to make the eight now after four straight losses. CHAMPS won themselves a priceless victory against Nothing But Class in an eight point game which has most likely saved the CHAMPY ONES from relegation. Hotshots were unlucky to lose with a reasonable score but they were outclassed by the hammers who look right inside the top eight.

Bens Rolfsbergers gave the Nutkickers a giant shitburger to eat this weekend in a rude awakening for TSG. The Rolfs are now the best team in the Hogg and eddieslittleindians aren't too far behind them. This league is very lopsided as it has some of the best coaches in the Hogg alongside some of the worst. How must Duromine Dependent feel losing with over 2100 as they look over to the Spidey's winning score of 1676?

While the Nutkickers copped a bit of a shock one team that could threaten the big two (plus an emerging Blighty) is onegameatatimers. Despite not scoring as heavily Moe's team has been very consistent having won their past eight matches including wins over Nutkickers and the Rolfsbergers. There doesn't appear to be a top four spot available to them though as Clark Kents enjoyed a big win over a desperately unlucky LEO (the lad traded in Houli and had Ablett and Watson and Kennedy of Sydney spudded it as his skipper).

In other news FNQ Trotters recorded a decent score and is once again putting the heat on whufc who can't seem to win matches to stay in the eight, but as soon as they drop out they win. They'll need to be out of the eight in Round 16 to make the finals on that form. ;)

It seems nothing can stop the mighty Rolfsbergers from claiming the Division IV title this season as they claimed yet another massive score to win a high quality match against the unlucky Team LEO who scored well but not well enough to beat the Hogg and Ladder leaders. The main contenders appear to be eddieslittleindians who absolutely belted the bejesus out of struggling Spideys and Blighty Teasdale who cleaned up the hammers to see them tumble out of the eight yet again.

FNQ Trotters took advantage of whufc's loss with a fine win against Onegameatatimers who have suffered their first loss in this league for over two months. It's not a fatal blow to Moe but the Trotters may emerge as a threat to them come August. The Nutkickers copped one against DAISYS DUDS who refuse to go quietly and somehow low scoring HOLLANDS HEROS remain in the top four despite not getting the numbers of some of the other top teams. His 10-4 record means that he'll play finals this year.

The relegation battle tightened up a bit as The Hotshots beat also rans Glory Shed in a low scoring game while CHAMPS and Nothing But Class were more impressive in notching what could be relegation saving victories. Team LEO a bit unlucky to be in the relegation frame now and he needs to arrest his current losing slump to stay in Division IV next season. Duromine Dependent is another side that hasn't quite clinched survival yet but Hotshots still look the most likely to join the bottom three.

Blighty Teasdale has made their move in Round 15 when they scored a high quality win over the FNQ Trotters. Blighty has taken advantage of Nutkickers' form slump (they really have begun to drop) as the Kickers suffered an upset loss to the previously out of form Team LEO. It's hard to see Blighty missing the top four from here as they have hit top form in recent weeks.

Another team to display fine form this week was DAISYS DUDS who won by over 500 against the Spideys. When you out score the Rolfsbergers you know you have had a good week. The DUDS have displaced the FNQ Trotters in the top eight and if they keep getting 2400 every week higher honors await. The relegation picture became a bit clearer this week with The Hotshots really starting to feel the heat after they were belted by eddieslittleindians. Nothing But Class is far too good to be in the relegation picture and they showed plenty of Class this week to demolish the hammers. The Hotshots are hoping the CHAMPS or even Duromine Dependent go down instead but both of these teams are scoring better than the Shots.
