nuggety goodness wrote:So the dilemma i currently face is one, I'm sure, many supercoaches are up against... Who to bring in for Coad...

I have $190K in the bank and could carry him if necessary but I don't think hat would bea good option...

I have Heppell, B Smith, Duigan, Lower, Batchelor with premiums of Gibbs, Goddard, Deledio and H Shaw...

So options that I've looked at are;

Watson (Carlton) - considering I've already got two blues in defence I'm not keen on his one
Johnson (Sydney) - with the bye this week I can afford to hold off, not sure about him though
Toy (GCS) - a popular choice
Hibberd (Essendon) - just not sure when his first game will be, again can afford to hold off for at least two
Pederson (Nth. Melb) - iirc a backman... Big score on debut but haven't seen him since

so many options, but which is he best one?!? What is everyone else doing?

You're too hardcore for me. I'm just whacking my 7 blokes who didn't play last week and hopefully i'll get a decent score. Having said that, I will be one ruckman short as I have Cox and Jamar but will be happy to get a donut when I bring Smith in. would u normally trade one out for this week or ride the zero?? I'm riding the zero.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Watch out for Adcock. If Drummond can get on the park Adcock's scoring rate will decline. I have him in the Pineapple league and with that side I've also got Duffield spudding it up. I reckon if you do get rid of Duffield you are far better trading him out for a Lower, Otten, Toy or Batchelor. Hibberd, Puopolo and even Jacobs are other options you can consider if you just want to free up the cash and risk a guy with lower job security.

As for Krak out...do it now if you want Libba as his value is going to go up as Libba has a very low break even score. If you wait an extra week it will cost you money because Krak (that's if he even plays this week) isn't going to go up in value all that much.

I reckon Krak and Duffield are on the nose but your timing and the choice of replacement of Duffield might need a rethink. It might be a little too late for Adcock. Beware of Drummond.

Fyfe everytime. And this is from a Higgins owner. No point picking up Missy now. If too many jump on he'll get hurt. No bugger off. ;)

Brodie Smith - PRO: Adelaide has a fairly soft draw
Brodie Smith - CON: The Cows have already played 3 of their 12 homies

PRO - I...er...don't have to go work.

7 on the extended bench.

Can't see Wood & Jolly being in the same team, so one of them must go. That leaves 6.

McCarthy won't play unless there is a late withdrawal. 5 left.

Wellingham & Toovey will play, which leaves 2 spots from Davis Dick 'n' Krak ( ).

From what I have heard Dick isn't quite ready for an AFL game and can't see him being picked for his first league game in ages when it's going to be a high intensity blockbuster.

IMO, Krak will play, but he'll be the sub.

Dick or Krak? Krak is a pretty straight option really.
Imagine Davis on the bench with Dick or Davis on the bench with Krak?
Perhaps Krak and Dick will play together and Davis will be left out?

AFL teams look like Lower, Curnow, McKernan, Bewick, Krak all on either end of extended or last named (sub)

I could be in some real strife this week.
No league games looks like I now need to go for total points (to get to divvy 3)
OR
Try to win league for $$ Lobster

Decisions...................

Cornelius & McQualter the subs tonight.

Also, if you haven't read it yet, Wallis will definitely debut for the Bulldogs, which leaves Liberatore very much in doubt of making the final 22.
