I think at this stage I only have to make 1 trade. With 3 teams having a bye and some big outs, I think I have got off lightly. Time to see who I have in the Pineapple League this week.

It's okay mate, you don't play any league matches during multi-team bye rounds. You can languish comfortably at the bottom of the ladder for the next three weeks

I did not know that. So whats the point in trading this week? And stop rubbing it in Quichey. Revenge is best served cold, as is Quiche.

The only main benefit would be if you want to bring in a Adelaide, Gold Coast or North Melbourne player before their price rises after this round, I would think, but others might have an idea on that?

I made 2 trades this week for that purpose. I had 2 duds to get rid of before I got smashed on their price so it is win-win.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

The point of trading this week would be if you are among the top 2% of point scorers and you intend on making up ground on the leaders...

...but, again, definitely not something you need to worry about

I missed Curnow which I am bummed about especially now Atley is named last on the extended bench for NM

But I just can't justify a 3rd early trade on another rookie related move so will take my medicine and hope Atley comes back soon, if he ends up being dropped.

My Hogg Shield team is going ok. Had a login stuff up, so my Pineapple team was rooted. I'll catch up.

Used my first 2 trades had $11 000 left in the bank

now have

INS- M.Pavlich
-S.McKernan

OUTS- M.Duncan
-M.Morton

NOW- have $69 900 left in the bank

Thinking was i wanted to make the most out of players before their prices change, plus having bye friendly Pavlich who is a mpp is a bonus.

Want either Chapman, Selwood or Bartel in my side by the time league games start again.

Not confident on a very good score this week :(

Put the 'bye' players on the bench - had to put some rookies on the field.
So hopefully they step up - but as I said - not really confident...lol.

Goodluck to all again this week O:)

You deserve to lose by selecting Mitch Morton in the first place. Seriously poor choice right there. Lol
