Trying to restore my reputation here as Alaska has gone cold on me ha ha. The word is that Jonathon Brown won't play against the Demons even though he's been named to play and did travel down with the team.

Normally JB against the Demons would be a very good captaincy choice but this week he might be watching from the stands. League Teams showed Browny wincing and grabbing at the groin area and showing an admittedly late in the last quarter shot at goal that seemed to have less than the usual dose of power. If you don't have Pods this would be the ideal time to trade him into your squad as coverage for Browny if he doesn't play. Then all of us idiots who selected Roberts can say 'Relton who? I picked Pods from the start!'.

Get coverage for Brown on your bench and don't make him skipper. I put this one in the !@#$%!!! thread because that is what coaches who traded out St Nick for Browny will be doing if Brown does not play or his average dies in the arse.

The Pod is in for the Ninja's. Was going to sit on my trades but already have Boyd & Mackay out with injury (only a week for both though hopefully) & Walker dropped (not that he was doing much anyway. If Brown doesn't front up I could be up against it this week.

Had the choice between Colyer and Cunnington (Roos debutant). Debated over it for about half an hour but made the switch.

Ouch! I feel for you Dutchy. I let 80 points go through bench choices (Hunt over Maguire, Bastinac over Jetta).

A lot of people had Trengove on their bench if it's any consolation.

Yeah too much faith in Bastinac, TBH I havent played Martin all year but Trengove pissed me off!

I Played Maguire over McMahon so probably shouldnt complain, McMahon kicked in as an emergency cause Houli (why oh why) didnt play

I have both Martin and Warnock. It makes life a little easier for me as i wasnt sure which one out of Martin and Trengove to upgrade, but its definitely Martin now.

Also, Matthew Boyd named as an emergency. Surely he will come straight back in from only missing one week?? Surely? Otherwise its Trengrove to get another gig in the side along with either Jetta or someone else.

I am rooted.

Mids - no Mitchell, no Martin, no Shuey. Going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade Martin (why the hell was this kid dropped anyway, can think of others who've been playing worse footy in that rubbish team) even though I still think he's got money to make.

God I hope Brown plays, I'll have no cover if he doesn't with Rockliff dropped and Relton (WTF was I thinking?!) not playing.

This year is unfolding as a disaster for me.
